How should I feel about the fact that my next door neighbors put a Youngkin board on their lawn?

You believe half of America (Republicans) should be banished from neighborhoods???

Will you gather neighbors to agree the neighbor is a witch and hold a trial, then banish her?

Historically, isn't that what the KKK did? Tried to banish or frighten blacks from neighborhoods?

Do you also believe in the boogeyman?

This is so over the top its delusional. Get mental help.

LOL. You think that "half of America" is Republican?

Not very good at math, huh?

If you want to get technical, you’d look at how many people are registered with their party of choice. Many, many people are independent.

Nope. That wouldn't work.

<30% of eligible voters voted for Trump.

The presidential election results in 2016 and 2020 were almost 50-50 between Democrat and Republican.

2016 Election Results (per Wikipedia)

Hillary 65,853,514 (48.2)
Trump 62,984,828 (46.1)

2020 Election Results

Biden 81,268,924 (51.4%)
Trump 74,216,154 (46.9%)

Odd how the PP posted election results for Hillary, Trump, and Biden, instead of Hillary, Donald, and Joe, or Clinton, Trump, and Biden.

These results above factor in percentage votes going to independents.

If instead you only compare Democrat votes vs. Republican votes, the percentages are, which is still close to 50-50:

2016:

Hillary - 51%
Trump - 49%

2020:

Biden - 52%
Trump - 48%

But for the sake of arguing ad nauseum, if we must argue 48 or 49% isn't "half," OK fine. Should 48% of people be banished from neighborhoods? Should even 1? This is evil speak. It's of Satan.

You are asking strangers how to feel instead of deciding using your own critical thinking?

She was "Hillary" as the first lady. Just like we call Jill Biden "Jill." I still think of her as such. Clinton was Pres. Bill Clinton to me.

Yes. You know how liberals have said that they didn’t vote for Biden but against Trump? That’s how I feel about my vote. I am not so much voting for Youngkin as I am voting against the far-left political agenda invading our school system and indoctrinating our children to think America is a racist country and whites are inherently racist.

I would be cordial but they're probably unvaccinated and hang out with other unvaccinated, so I'd keep my distance. I have to work with people like this. I don't like to spend energy being mad and hateful, but just accept the reality of coexistence, what is out of my control, exercise what precautions I can and go on about my business.

OMG. You really are bad at math. You should stop responding.

If you are looking at an even SMALLER pool of people (only Ds and Rs) that is even LESS representative of "America".

No wonder you believe all of that dumb crap the GOP feeds you. You're dumb AF.

Not really. I'm sure PP also complained about her "shrill" voice.

I guess that is "roughly" true.

Less than 30% of eligible voters voted for Trump. Certainly isn't "half of America" no matter how "roughly" you look at it.

I was high school math team, then went on to be top of the class in math at a top Computer Science school. But ok. Show me your math. Honestly, not even sure WTF you are arguing. But go ahead, show us your math now

To that argument, maybe the Youngkin sign neighbor is registered as an Independent in Maryland.

Or, maybe it's Virginia where nobody declares a party, in which case, there are zero Republicans by your reasoning.

Conversely were all people in Eastern Bloc countries communists even if they didn’t belong to the communist party?

In presidential elections, voting was roughly 50-50 in both 2016 and 2020.

PP said "half of America" - which isn't the same thing as people who turned out to vote.

LOL "roughly"...

2016:
Clinton: 48.2% vs. Trump 46.1%

2020:
Biden 51.3% vs. Trump 46.9%

Less than 30% of eligible voters voted for Trump. Certainly isn't "half of America" no matter how roughly you look at it.

OK - 70 million people. That's a lot.

Why don't you ask them what issues they're voting on? Talk about issues, share ideas. Defend your own ideology while they defend theirs. This is what neighbors can and should do. It might open your mind, and theirs too. Bring back civility.
