This- clearly whoever wrote the 3ft rule is not familiar with how ES works, so the actual principals who do are forced to override it and be the bad guy. |
First, it’s not the only way to consent. You can verbally consent to rapid testing if your child is sent to the nurse with symptoms. Second, I’m not sure why you’d even bother with rapid testing in that situation. The school is going to make you get a PCR test if the rapid is negative anyway. |
Why can’t the principals instead be the good guys that acknowledge the transmission risks are low anyways and keep the kids in school? Why would you be rooting for the bad guys? |
Why are they forced to override anything? No other district is doing this. |
Alternatively, the people who wrote the guidance know what they're talking about; some random person on the internet does not know what they're talking about; MCPS policy can follow the guidance; and then the actual principals can be the good guys. Yay! |
There is zero distancing, not 3 or 6 feet. |
If your kid is sick pick them up. |
Right. If they’re sick, pick them up and get a PCR. There’s no reason to bother with the rapid test at school. |
Like a clown bus? How about that. |
Alternatively to reality, yes. |
Intriguing. When you watch movies, do you also find yourself supporting the villains? |
The reason? So you know immediately if they were infectious and can act accordingly to appropriately notify/quarantine/ limit spread in a judicious manner? |
The villains are engaging in behavior that puts kids at risk. And mcps and the county for doing nothing but masks to keep our kids safe. Sad. |
Kids are packed in the buses, hallways and classrooms. |
Aren’t you suppose to do that anyway while you wait for the pcr to come back? What you do with a negative antigen that you wouldn’t otherwise be willing to do? |
