Not sure I can stand an entire year of “pre-order my book” BS. Not sure I can listen to this non-stop white lady privilege about how her life was upended when she had money and family support. How through this beautiful mess she found true love! She’s a walking cliche.

Completely disagree. Jen does not have insight to herself. She is a sad middle-aged woman in deep deep denial. About her self-importance, about thinking talking about her "team" makes her sound important, about being recovered from her divorce, about the short therapy she did with a therapist who exploited her with a business partnership, about her boyfriend who is using her for clout, about her podcast and how funny she thinks she is. Jen does not make fun of herself, she is completely earnest in thinking all of this just like she was earnest about thinking Brandon and his hats and motorcycle gang was cool. I don't think she's lying to her audience, I think she's lying to herself. I think she has no idea how awful she is and I think that's part of why there is so much discussion about her.

Yikes! Who is this new podcast cohost? Don’t wanna snark if she has a genuine disorder but she is shockingly dull, like lobotomized dull. Is it some sort of “bit” like April from Parcs and Rec or is she truly void of a media personality?

Why would Jen choose this person? Her daughter would’ve been a much better choice.

Jens book will be 90% metaphors related to the ocean, 9% horndogging over Tyler and 1% semi-interesting details such as the exact age of Brandon’s affair partner.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jen gets a passing mention in Tyler’s book but he’ll try and downplay her involvement in his life as much as possible.

Since Tyler is also a budding actor, I can imagine he wants to be ready to make a clean split from Jen as soon as he gets a major part.

My week is made! I went to her FB page and decided the most annoying thing is that he calls himself THE TM Project.

RIGHT??? This has always irked me. I get that HE is the project but Tyler Merritt Project implies that there's actually something happening besides him talking about how dope he is.

I'm not on FB, can someone please gove an example of how he does this? I am fascinated.

Does anyone know what Tyler's day job is? Because he's not making money from being an influencer (he promotes himself nonstop but he's not selling much beyond tacky message tees) and I doubt his first book made him much since his advance would have been set before he started dating Jen and got all her followers. If I remember correctly from the book he worked in sales in a women's department store for about a decade. What's his day job now?

I think there's some of that happening still with Jen.

No one begrudges a nice trip or a pleasant holiday but when someone's life is nothing but that on a manic beat it's a sign that there's something deeper going on emotionally and spiritually.

I also did this in my marriage. Anything to not confront the problems. Now that I am divorced I LOVE just being home. Being still. Sure, I travel and all that, but I LOVE HOME.
