Jen is absolutely Jane. By the way, my hill is Hillary, whom I let you all know was never “Hilaria.” IYKYK and IK. |
I think you may be the poster child for non-intellectual. |
Ouch |
| They both announced their upcoming books this week. Waiting patiently for TTMP to promote hers like she did his. |
Do you think Tyler reads this thread? |
Most people in the public eye either have a Google alert set for themself and they get a flag every time their name appears in print or they have a clipping service do that for them. I'd expect that would be included in their PR team's services. I would guess they're aware of this thread and also r/hatmakersnark but who knows how often they check or if they participate. |

We called it. Big Sis’ next “manifesto” is a too dear and too precious phoenix rises from the ashes post divorce tell all. I’m sure her ex and kids are super thrilled about that.
Baby bride little precious lamb marries much too young and after 20 plus years never sees the dissolution of her marriage coming despite being the precious and true perfect wife! The horror of it all! Then, overnight, does “the work” and reemerge as the fiercest boss babe of boss babes and conquered of all things, especially the patriarchy and judging church, despite having built a church in her own image, a church that was too precious and just so dear, of course. This will sell poorly and reflect poorly on her, I think. But it’s really the only card she has left to play. |

“Very quietly, I want to make a note that I finished my new book today…”
Very quietly?? So you post it to social media, the same way you announce everything else, what’s “quiet” about that? |

"What happened is this..."
"This is who we are now" "The number of times that I (insert... whatever) is a million times" "You simply must plan a trip to NYC. Schedules and families and budgets be d@mned!! Start the conversation." (BTW, I have a flexible schedule and disposable income and could absolutely do these kinds of things, but it sounds so tone-deaf to hear her talk about this like it's a given that everyone could just jet off to a Broadway show at a moment's notice.) |
It's also a flawed understanding of what it means to live a good life. It's all about having fun and doing what you want and what feels good in the moment. The idea of an ordinary life lived responsibly for the sake of your family or community that doesn't have to do "all the things" doesn't seem to be on the horizon. |
Amen. Jen has a life of utter discontent. Has to be go go go. At least she doesn't blame all her traveling compulsion on her kids (i.e. Howerton). Tyler also isn't content to live a life as a privileged black man in 2024. An era of capital-B blackness. I reread the first few chapters of ITMCB and he just has to hone in on the few older and/or crazy white ladies and ignore the 99.99% of the population who are indifferent to him. These two make me love my wonderfully average life with every stupid post. |
| Who even buys Big Sass' books? I bet it's mostly middle aged white women. |
I think YOU are two hands dressed in sock puppets. |

I remember something that Brandon said on a podcast awhile ago after his divorce and recovery. That he and Jen busied themselves to the point of distraction in the last years of their lives together. That they filled their days and nights with events and trips and all the things to allow them to not have to confront unpleasant and unsettled things.
I think there's some of that happening still with Jen. No one begrudges a nice trip or a pleasant holiday but when someone's life is nothing but that on a manic beat it's a sign that there's something deeper going on emotionally and spiritually. |

Perhaps someone should send her yet another link to her mutiny and excess "7" book, as well as another one to her e-course on financial planning for women. |
