| Spin-off from the late playground question. |
| Every week but who doesn’t bathe their children every night?! |
| About once a month. |
| We bathe our kids every night in the summer and whenever they have gotten dirty/sweaty/messy/played outside a lot. But in the winter we don’t bathe them every day bc it dries out their skin so much and they don’t need it as much. We change their sheets once a week or more frequently if needed regardless. |
Me! Every other night, sometimes every third in the winter works for us, sometimes every night in the summer if they got very sweaty or covered in sunscreen head to toe. It’s what the pediatrician and dermatologist recommends. I wash the sheets once a week. |

In the summer or when they get really dirty/sweaty they get bathed every day. But in the winter they only get bathed about 2-3 times a week. Anything more their skin gets so dry and itchy they scratch it until it bleeds.
I change their sheets every week (sometimes more if the baby pees through their PJs at night). |

Here it comes..."if you don't bathe your child every night, we can all tell. They smell and you're all super gross."
I bathe my kids every other night. I wash their sheets once per week. It works just fine. |
Seriously. My kids just don't get so dirty as to necessitate a daily bath every single day. Even when they are playing outside, they are not exactly rolling around in piles of literal dirt. They clean their hands and faces multiple times a day and when the day is done, they take off their dirty clothes and put on PJs. They don't smell because their clothing is clean. It seems like people think that but for a nightly bath routine, all children would be covered in grime. |

We generally are an every night family. Sometimes we skip. I wash their sheets much more in the spring because we all have pollen allergies. But I'd say we normally wash their sheets every 2 weeks.
Sometimes the bath is a simple water rinse off. It's part of our bedtime routine and so doing that step is sometimes easier than skipping it. Since it's a natural transition from playing, to bath, to pjs and bed. Going from play right to bed can be a challenge in our house! |
We do nightly baths. My kids do literally roll around on the ground outside pretty frequently! So yes, that's why we do it. |
| Yuck! Kids should be bathing or showering daily. Sometimes more than once a day. I wash sheets every Monday. |
Many people. Your way isn’t the only way. |
You sound neurotic. |
Newsflash: your kids stink. Not adult BO odor, but outside, sweaty kid odor. |
Stop smelling my kids, ya weirdo. My kids take baths twice a week in the winter, and up to daily in the summer heat, and we change sheets once a week or so. Bathing too often, especially for kids, strips the skin of oils, which are actually very important for protection against bacteria and various other yucky things. They do wash their hands and faces a lot, we don't wear shoes in the house, etc. On the days when they roll around in the sandbox etc., yes, they get a bath. But don't take it from me, take it from the Internet doctors: https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/ss/slideshow-shower-bath-mistakes |
