All Boys Schools….

Considering for next year. How do you rank these and what has been your experience - both good and bad?

St. Anselm, Landon, STA, GPrep and the Heights….

Prep is different because they only take high schoolers like Gonzaga and Dematha

Dematha is not as competitive. Not as rigorous. Actually, probably the least rigorous of all the schools.

My rankings would be:

STA
GPrep
Landon
Gonzaga
The Heights
St. Anselms
Dematha

STA-SAAS
Heights -GPrep
Landon-Gonzaga
Dematha

In terms of academic rigor,
St. Anselms
St. Albans
Georgetown Prep
Gonzaga
Heights
Landon
DeMatha

STA
Landon
GPrep
St. Anselms - but not mainstream
Heights

St. Anselms 1st!

I would put them before Dematha, after Landon but I agree with this otherwise.

Which are better all around? Including rigor, sports, college matriculations?
Anonymous
STA
Landon
Georgetown Prep
Gonzaga
St, Anselms and Heights don’t compete in “all around” category

STA is most elite by a large amount.

For academic rigor, it's not even close. SAAS

STA boys also work really hard. And they have a higher average SAT score than SAAS.

Yes . . . for those who know both schools, it's clear on the rigor side. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1029530.page

If you are asking, it just means you know nothing about SAAS, which is pretty typical.
