This does not take into account class size…

Exactly what does this strange statistic tell you about these schools? Especially when you consider the advantages certain groups have in gaining admission to these schools (i.e., athletes, legacies, children of celebrities and the politically-connected, URMs, etc.)

Agree with above. I have lived in area a long time and that is how I would rank them and their reputations. Spot on.

I know many boys that were accepted at all and chose one of the other for various reasons: price (some are $25k cheaper per year), or particular athletic team, location to their home, sibling or legacy, etc.

Any smart and motivated kid will do well at any one of those schools.

Location mattered a lot to us. Fortunately, the one my sons loved the most on that list also was the quickest commute. It had a better price tag too.

You also are missing the “religion” aspect. Some only want a Jesuit education so that’s Prep or GZ. Some want very little or no religion, Landon.

There is so much to selecting a school. These “status lists” on this board are comical.
