Another post on girl names. Looking for honest opinions on these names, please:

Erica
Erin
Carrie
Natalie

These are our top contenders and need a gut check! Last name two syllables, starts with a W. Thank you.

Perfectly nice names, but a bit plain. Pick whichever one you love.

Erica - ugly name
Erin - ugly name in a different way from Erica
Carrie - boring name
Natalie - this is the good one. I like this.

Erica - Nice enough.
Erin - Pass.
Carrie - “Nicknamy.” Love Carina, nn Carrie.
Natalie - I love Natasha and Natalia. Natalie is not bad, but it’s the poor man’s Natalia.

I love Natalie, it was one of my top choices.

I also only like Natalie. The others are meh to me.

Natalie is the only good option here.

I've always loved the names Erin and Natalie. Erica feels dated in a not great way to me. Carrie is fine, just never been one of my favorites.

Erica: not a fan of girl names that are a male name with a or ette on the end.
Erin: ok
Carrie: not a fan of nicknames. Caroline nn Carrie is much better imo
Natalie: good

I love Natalie. Also love Erin, but it feels very 1980s.

I'm not the only one! This was literally one of my central criteria for naming a daughter -- I did not want a feminized version of a male name, and especially not a common male name. It's amazing how many names this eliminates!

I agree with the majority and I like Natalie the best as well.. although I have a friend named Natalie and everyone calls her Nat and it makes me think of a gnat.

Carrie will forever remind me of Sissy Spacek from the Stephen King movie/book..

Natalie is best followed by Erica. Doesn’t get more boring than Carrie but acceptable if it’s a nickname for Caroline or similar. Neutral on Erin!

Erica is the name of Heather when it's at home in the botany book, so I like it, and don't associate it with the name Eric.

I had a good friend called Erin and another called Aerin, so that one's cool, too.

Carrie seems like the movie, or like a nickname.

Natalie Attired? Natalie Dressed? Not a big fan, for that reason.

I like all except Carrie - there are too many spellings and it will be annoying. Natalie is my favorite of this group.
