| School got sent the info Feb 7 by mail. Student home address letter goes out via mail today. We are waiting also. |

It's current seniors who took the PSAT in their junior year. Some of them qualified as semi finalists back in October after which they submitted a package to further qualify as finalists. This is about those results. |

| NY and NJ have released press releases so it appears that schools do know. |

I almost thought the letter had arrived today because there was an envelope in our mail with the words "Nationa Merit Scholar" on the front. It turned out it was a scholarship offer from a school if my child is selected as a finalist and they apply and are admitted to the school.
Has anyone received the letter yet? |

A counselor told DC today.
If the parents' employers don't offer scholarships to NMF, is there a chance to receive a scholarship from some random company? I'm not quite sure how they choose the recipients if they have no connection to their company. |

REad up on it. ASAP...school choice is due by March 1. It is very late in the game to be asking. You should have been reading about it last fall when your kid was a semi-finalist. We used our shot to get our kid a full ride scholarship. |
