The Fage thread got me thinking… what can’t you find? Maybe we can be a resource for each other.

Which area Costco has the big 5-lb freezer bags of plain cauliflower rice? I only see flavored ones now, blech.

Any Costcos have the box of 40 little hotties anymore?

Interesting...Trader Joe's also has flavored cauliflower rice and not plain now.

I went to Whole Foods over the weekend to get a few specific items for a recipe. I needed two cans of white beans and there was only one left in the whole store - the canned bean section was almost empty! So weird.

I don’t even know what these are, but 40 Little Hotties would be a great name for an all female band.

I haven't found malted milk powder in Safeway or Giant (and I do not want a costco sized amount so even if they sell it there that won't work!). Trader Joe's was out of my favorite raisins last week but they still had a place on the shelf for it so that seems like a small blip.

Fair trade dark roast coffee from aldi. I had trouble finding it in the early summer b/c I kept missing delivery day. But since early January they’ve barely had coffee at all.

I've gotten this at sterling costco.

But can't find frozen shaved beef (steak-ums) that I've heard costco sells.

Is that a p*zzagate thing!?

Beans: buy the dry instead. Not only cheaper but so easy to cook up a pound in the IP (~35 minutes). I freeze in baggies of 1.5 cups each…the same as what’s in a can. I’ve been doing this with black beans, white beans and garbanzo beans.

I also tried making my own refried beans for the first time last week and they were so delicious. A huge bag of dried pinto beans was $7.

The Giant in Potomac Village had Saltines yesterday! I have been looking for 5 weeks, and finally found them. I use them for crab cakes...
