Ben Gvir is a disgrace although I don’t agree with your analogy.

And nice justification for gang rape and murder, you sicko.

You are the ones justifying murder.

Gang rape was long debunked by Max Blumenthal, Jewish. The December New York Times story “Screams without Words” was debunked.

You can read more about it here

https://thegrayzone.com/2024/01/10/questions-nyt-hamas-rape-report/amp/

The UN states that rape allegations are credible but I doubt you would believe them unless you personally witnessed it. Who knows maybe you were actually there?

The U.N. envoy focusing on sexual violence in conflict, Pramila Patten, said Monday there were “reasonable grounds” to believe Hamas committed rape, “sexualized torture,” and other cruel and inhuman treatment of women during the attack.

Now the UN is credible to you ? I thought Israel calls them anti Semitic and wanting to threaten funding ? They were brow beaten into making that statement that they have “reasonable grounds” to believe rape occurred without going into detail.

The UN has realized that anti-semitism is so endemic that most Hamas supporters internationally could care less about some pesky Jews being brutally raped. It’s just fun and games to their left wing base.

Please stop trying to justify Israel's genocide in Gaza with your faux cries of antisemitism. The hypocrisy and dishonesty are nauseating.

This is what is bothering me. This isn’t a situation where one side is innocent and the other is evil. There is history and nuance and just a too many victims on both sides. There is no resolution without this realization and people being willing to understand the other’s experience. Unfortunately, Biden (and likely Trump) view that the U.S. should stand with Israel in all situations is too simplistic to get to a lasting peace in the region.

Meanwhile, every mother, father, sibling Israel kills in Gaza is leaving behind a Palestinian that will hate them.

DP.

100% agree with the bolded.

Disagree with the rest.

1. There's literally nothing the US can do to facilitate "lasting peace in the region". The two sides here have irreconcilable differences, and both prefer conflict over compromise.

2. Many/most Palestinians hated Israel before this round of conflict. The increase in hatred is marginal.

Then the only thing left to do is to sell everything and divide the family assets in half. Nobody keeps the house.

Like all divorces, devil is in the details.

Palestinians won't take responsibility for f***ing up by rejecting the original partition, and even the most "moderate" want the '47 or '67 borders.

Israel won't give back what it has taken through military conquest and settlement.

I don't really care what either of them want. If it's irreconcilable then nobody gets the land.

Kinda unrealistic. Israel has the land and has nuclear weapons.

In reality, if it's irreconcilable, then Israel will simply keep the land.

No one can/will forcibly remove them.

I absolutely LOVE when groups throughout history - like today's Zionists - have taken the stance that their will is beyond reproach (and challenge).

If anything, this Gaza invasion has proven that Israel would be hard-pressed to launch a nuclear weapon without shitting their pants and detonating the weapon above Tel Aviv. This has been a demonstration of amateur hour war fighting like we've probably never seen before.

And that's one of the major problems. The Israeli government doesn't want peace because it thinks it benefits more from the status quo. That is why the US etc should just unilaterally recognize Palestine. It'll still be under occupation but there will be incentives for peace on both sides.

More accurately, I'd say Israel wants the status quo AND peace.

The Palestinians obviously won't accept the status quo--they want (1) '47 borders, (2) '67 borders, or (3) no Israel.

Which version of Palestine do you propose the US should recognize? And what do you think would be the practical effect of such recognition?

67 borders is the same thing as today. Palestinian gets West Bank and Gaza only. Hamas proposed that years ago and Israel ignored it

2/3 of Palestinians wanted a two state solution so the idea that Palestinians don’t want peace or Israel to exist is false

Part of the problem Israel has is Hamas has no uniform since Palestinians don’t have a military so they can’t even identify who is or isn’t Hamas. Ideally; Palestinians and Israelis should both have governments and real states and food, electric, water, should not be run by Israel . The occupation needs to end.

Both governments should work together to combat radical extremism and foil terrorist plots to harm the other . It’s already done in the West Bank.

By not allowing statehood , Israel is actually harming itself . Hamas is a ghost army instead of a official state military

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/01/31/middleeast/benjamin-netanyahu-cnn-interview-israel-intl/index.html

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said people can get “hung up” on peace negotiations with the Palestinians, saying he has opted for a different approach in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday.

“When effectively the Arab-Israeli conflict (comes) to an end, I think we’ll circle back to the Palestinians and get a workable peace with the Palestinians,” he said.

Asked by Tapper about the Biden administration’s concerns that settlements in the occupied West Bank could exacerbate tensions, Netanyahu pointed to the success of the Trump-era Abraham Accords that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab countries.

“I went around them (Palestinians), I went directly to the Arab states and forged with a new concept of peace… I forged four historic peace agreements, the Abraham Accords, which is twice the number of peace agreements that all my predecessors in 70 years got combined.”

His comments come at a tense moment for Israel. Palestinians and Israelis have suffered terrible bloodshed in the past week, and fears are growing that the situation will spiral out of control. Last Thursday was the deadliest day for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in nearly two years, followed by a shooting near a Jerusalem synagogue Friday night – which Israel has deemed one of its worst terror attacks in recent years.

The Myth of Israel’s “Moral Army”
The Failure of the IDF’s Targeting Protocols Is Producing Massive Civilian Casualties

… Israel claims that it is doing everything in its power to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza—that it maintains complex targeting procedures aimed at ensuring that any military strike is proportionate and does not kill an excessive number of civilians. ..

In truth, Israel is not doing that. It has waged a brutal campaign in Gaza, only loosely upholding the protocols its armed forces are supposed to follow to minimize civilian deaths. But even those guidelines are insufficient: an investigation of prior campaigns in Gaza reveals the inadequacy of Israeli targeting guidelines, which do not truly curb civilian casualties. In the latest round of fighting in Gaza, Israel has failed to follow even those restrictions—leading to untold devastation and making a resolution to the conflict even harder to reach.

Early in the 2014 operation, the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem pointed out that striking the homes of militants is a violation of international humanitarian law since they are civilian homes, not military targets. Thereafter, a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) insisted that the militants’ houses were in fact “Hamas headquarters”—as in 2021, when Israeli forces bombed the houses of several Hamas members and destroyed a number of high-rise towers in Gaza. But soldiers who spoke with Breaking the Silence explained that these were in fact ordinary residences, not centers for militant operations. Israel’s distorted targeting rationale ends up razing an entire building just to get at a single apartment, in the process endangering dozens of civilians who have no involvement in the fighting

Interesting article. Looks like it is not hard to expose Israel for who they are yet Biden is still shipping arms and firing to stop a ceasefire.

So many problems would be solved just like that.

Palestinian posters here don't like immigrants or refugees. They've told us a million times that the Jewish survivors of WW@ were "colonizers".

They'd really hate Central and South American immigrants.

I thought they were natives from 2,000 BC not immigrants

Israel's Haaretz newspaper said the Higher Planning Committee of the Civil Administration - the body that implements Israeli government policy in the West Bank - had advanced plans for the development of 3,476 settler homes on Wednesday - with 2,452 in Maale Adumim, 694 in Efrat and 330 in Kedar.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a far-right politician who oversees the Civil Administration, said following the meeting that a total of 18,515 homes in West Bank settlements had now been approved over the past year.

Let’s face facts Biden and all American politicians know this is happening. When they talk about a two state solution or peace with the Palestinians they are lying. Why are they not talking about annexation? Annexation is the only thing that will happen. There is zero chance of a two state solution.

But you direct your outrage at Israel and Biden instead of the terrorist group who engaged this war by slaughtering, raping, and kidnapping civilian men, women, and children. Do you always direct your outrage at the entity protecting itself from terrorism?

And before you say no, 10/7 is Israeli lies. Hamas filmed and posted so much of their slaughter and assaults on streaming so stop. US agencies have confirm this, finally the UN has confirmed this. Are you asking about the numbers of dead Hamas releases?

And before you say but 75 years of Israelis - Jews are colonizers …. Jews were in this region for 1000s of years and even in the 1800s and 1900s enduring the brutalization of Arab and Muslim imperialism. Where was your outrage? This didn’t start 75 years ago it’s just what came before doesn’t quite fit your narrative.

Did you care about the Israeli kids filmed by Hamas as their parents and siblings were killed or lay dead? What about the girls who were either filmed dead or very clearly suffering trauma following rape?

Did you forget my last sentence says Hamas tunnels are without a scratch?

I have no problem with Israel waging the war . It’s the way they are doing it that is completely wrong.

The Us weapons and planes they get are all for aerial bombing and Hamas has underground tunnels. Do you not see the problem here? Hamas has their own underground Iron Dome so the U.S. and Israeli weapons campaign means nothing to them .

Many Israeli hostages are also in danger due to the incessant aerial bombing.

Israel is blasting so much 2,000 pound bombs hoping to burst the tunnels and they aren’t working. It’s to the point that some don’t even detonate because they use so much ammo.

This is a war of amateurs or amateur hour.

Intelligence and tunnel warfare is what was needed. I think Joe sending US ground troops would be more respectable than sending planes and phosphorus bombs that burn kids to 3,000 Fahrenheit. That’s very Hitler like
Anonymous
On top of that, the starvation is also a pointless but cruel cherry on top. Israel has lost alot of world respect for how they carried this out.

If they wanted to prove they are noble than Hamas, they didn’t do a good job at that. They should’ve shown more restraint in responding is an understatement .

What are we? 5 month revenge from a one day atrocity ? That’s dragging things out and making their Israelis who are now Gazan citizens for the time being suffer with no food, water, electric, or safety as well.

They think they taught the Palestinians a lesson but the ones they are teaching weren’t the ones who approached them in the first place. All they are teaching if anything is that they are the bad guys . That’s what the kids will think of them. They had a chance to join hands with the locals and kick Hamas together along with the US but that’s not how Israel operates. They don’t believe in the spirit of collaboration because they operate under the assumption all Palestinians are Hamas or terrorists including 1 year olds. Sadly, they are already compromised from within by Hamas . It is obvious their military is infilitrated and their generals have even come out and made statements to Israeli media saying so
