No, but their family is the American Taliban. |
I'm not the pp you quoted, but it wouldn't but the University of Arkansas would be the ones to put the capacity limit on graduation, not the Duggar family. If U of Arkansas says each graduate is only entitled to 6 tickets, the Duggars can't override that. |

I remember a discussion when they had their show on TLC. One of the boys got seriously injured. Instead of jumping in to help, Michelle got her cell phone and started recording for show footage (the camera crew wasn't there at that particular time).
Who does that? I couldn't imagine any normal mother do that. |
She gave birth to them but their sister-moms are their actual mothers. You can see clips of when various kids get lost or hurt. They go to their sister-moms for comfort first. Everyone should have wished Jana Duggar a Happy Mother’s Day. Not Michelle. |
| Why hasn’t Jana left or gotten married? For a while it was suggested she stayed on so she could keep an eye on her sisters and protect them from their older brother. Does anybody think there’s more to why she is still there? |
| I'm not sure what the girl's education level has to do with Josh being a pedophile. Although I do wish at least one of them would reject the bs they were raised with. |
And go where and do what? She has no education. Also apparently Jim is the only one getting money for the show. How all of that is legal, I’ll never know. Wonder if crew members had an inkling about Josh back in the day. TLC aided and and abetted this whole thing. |
Well, they were "home-schooled" and appear to be literate, at least. Are you saying that no one who is home-schooled can ever go to college or get a job? I think they could go to junior colleges or get some kind of job, etc., if it weren't against their belief system. One of the daughter-in-laws actually works as a nurse, I think. |
There is a detailed response in this thread about the type of home schooling they received. They are not even receiving an education appropriate for attending Liberty. |
They were pursuing degrees through CollegePlus! Also, seems that most of the older ones have GEDs. I think they're capable of being productive members of society, if they wanted to... Instead, they've been supported by reality TV. https://www.duggarfamilyblog.com/2011/04/degrees-for-kids.html https://www.duggarfamilyblog.com/2011/04/college-degrees-for-jana-and-john-david.html https://www.nickiswift.com/140859/how-far-the-duggars-got-in-school/ |
Isn't she the midwife? |
“CollegePlus! is a revolutionary Christian based program helping students earn their fully accredited bachelor’s degree in a fraction of the time and cost. Through careful navigation and academic coaching, each student acquires a superior level of education without the inefficiencies and humanistic pitfalls of today's traditional secular college.” Sure, seems legit and a way to be well prepared for life. |
The DIL that was a nurse quit once she was engaged because she was moving, but she has not looked for a new job in her new location. I believe she was a LPN. She does do nursing type things when they occasionally go on “mission” trips. |
none of the daughters became midwifes. Some did have some training for an uncertified program. |
Jill is a midwife. |
