You’re delusional. This thread is not real life. At GDS kids are learning, teachers are teaching, administrators are running a school and 98% of the parents are not reading this. They’re busy with work, or errands, or maybe jogging in park. Meanwhile, new families are sending in their deposits. The world keeps spinning.

There is one nutter (unclear if it’s a student or parent) that seems to keep the insanity alive on this thread. I think it’s well past time to sunset this. And no, I’m not a lawyer, spin doctor, PR person, pedophile, alien, Hillary Clinton or Catholic priest.

Yes, forget this silly assault stuff and let's have a round of GDS Parents Day or Grandparents where we parade GDS students in front of us one by one by grade where they show off their $60K/yr elite education singing Happy Shiny People for everyone and we can pretend GDS is a safe, honest, and transparent place where we can all drink a refreshing glass of that yummy elite GDS Kool-Aid.

They are not okay. I honestly can’t tell if it’s a parent whose kid didn’t get in, a genuine conspiracy theorist that actually believes that there is a secret GDS cabal at Comet Ping Pong or a kid at GDS who is doing this as some kind of class project.

Many posting on the thread are genuinely concerned with how this incident has been handled and the message to not speak up if victimized that kids are internalizing. The hypocrisy when they host an annual consent summit for OTHER schools is startling. Perhaps those recs should be rolled out to their own students and they should fix their own culture?
