Parent here. When I look around at other clubs and read different threads, it really seems like everyone is in the same situation, there’s just a lot of negativity.
I’m actually glad VRSC is attracting talent. My daughter had CC many years ago at FCV, and he is a great coach. I can already see the club growing with CC in charge. The same thing happened at FCV once things started changing and improving, everyone eventually migrated over.
Guten Morgen, Christian!
Cc is a total dck. BP is the one who led fcv to the next level and he’s proven this at VDA. Cc’s days are numbered.
From the outside looking in, it actually seems like you’re pretty worried about CC. You don’t just randomly end up on a Rev “no-drama” chat |
Agree, no GFR invasion. A few here and there but all in all a natural ebb and flow of teams and talent. |
I’m also not affiliated with the club and from what I can tell, this is the best run club in the area and possibly on the east coast. Best coaching slate and college placement record. My DC will be trying out for next season. All of the hate seems like disgruntled parents and employees who didn’t have the skill or capability to meet the high standards at VRSC. |
| I see coaches announcement and PS as coach for the u13s. Is he a good development coach? Any comments on his style? |
Mostly it’s because they know VRSC is doing good things and will upset the balance of power to existing clubs. Nobody attacks clubs they don’t fear. There is also one very loud bitter guy whose wife cheated on him with a coach from VRSC who is no longer there. |
Is that the guy whose wife was sleeping with the club president? Club president got removed as president and it was reported he slept with 4-5 moms. Most believe he still is profiting as an owner and likely stalking other moms too. |
| Uh oh, here comes the deleting of posts again. |
This is obviously rage bait. |
Then there is you, a club employee/owner who.says the same things.over and over. Nobody believes you. You follow the Goebbels propaganda method. I guess it worked once before... |
Typical for this club. They just don’t get it. |

If you’re not a VRSC parent, I’m genuinely curious why you’re so invested in this blog. I can’t imagine an adult with no connection to the club regularly checking it and commenting. Most parents barely have time as it is. Unless you’re actively shopping for clubs, which clearly doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s just hard to understand the motivation.
You’d think this blog is for parents with players, that’s why most of us come here, just like with any other club. But that clearly doesn’t seem to be the case. What it does sound like is a group of adults stirring up drama. This is youth soccer nothing more. If you’re upset about something that happened, handle it directly with the person involved like an adult should because the rest of us do not care about anything else but soccer. |
Also interested in coach PS info, anyone? |
| Another parent here after another parent just sent us this site. The fact that this exists you’d think it would be about Rev Soccer and actually sharing advice or feedback from other families. Instead, it’s clearly a space for upset adults with personal issues against the club. Please do everyone a favor and deal with that like an adult. Many of us parents reading these threads are honestly laughing at the fact that people keep checking back and responding, yet don’t seem to have a child at VRSC (or at least I truly hope they don’t, given the way the club is being spoken about). What really gets me is this, if you have no interest in VRSC and like many of us you’ve left other clubs before why would you continue coming back and posting about a place your child no longer plays? That’s not normal behavior. It comes across as adults hiding behind anonymous names just to stir drama. As parents, we don’t care about that. We care about real feedback, real soccer experiences, and information that actually helps our kids. |
There are a few unhappy parents that love to hang out on this thread. They ruin things for the majority of famines that are happy at VRSC. Anytime someone is positive they immediately accuse the person of being a VRSC Coach or Admin. Then you have a few NVA parents who for some reason think they are miles better than VRSC in all age groups. And lastly you have the random 09 VDA parents who can’t handle the 3-1 result against the VRSC 09 team, and then lies about the roster to make themselves feel better. A secure person would just say, we won and not whataboutisms. Complainers ruin things for everyone. |

Also interested in coach PS info, anyone?
I wish I could tell you more. My daughter is on the girls side, but I’ve honestly heard really good things about all of the boys coaches that have been announced so far. Hopefully someone with direct experience can respond, though at this point it does seem like a lot of the commentary is coming from adults who aren’t actually interested in soccer. |
