Most of them want to run someone who will damage Biden and put Trump in office. So, they won't be coming forward.

Some of the early donors were in the dark about No Labels intentions. Now that we know Harlan Crow is a major donor it's obvious that the game plan is to help Trump.

Do they actually have recourse to get their money back?

It depends on the representations of the people who were soliciting the donations. Clearly they feel they have a case for false representation.

Why doesn't no labels just give back the money? These type of suits can't be helpful to them.

Maybe the lawsuit is to expose No Labels for the fraudsters they are.

Of course...so why did they not just return it to try to minimize some of that exposure ?

Maybe the suit is irrelevant. Suckers are suckers and no labels will try to find as many as they can.

No Labels is alleging an orchestrated effort to subvert democracy...

No Labels, a political group that's preparing a potential independent presidential ticket in 2024, filed a Justice Department complaint requesting an investigation into some organizations led by Democrats and their allies that the group alleges are trying to interfere in its efforts to gain ballot access in all 50 states and Washington D.C.

In its letter, No Labels asks the Department of Justice, based on the evidence submitted, to investigate the operatives behind this anti-democratic conspiracy of intimidation and harassment for violations of various federal laws including:

18 U.S.C. § 1951, an anti-extortion statute.

18 U.S.C. § 241, which prevents individuals from conspiring to oppress, threaten or intimidate any person “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same.”

18 U.S.C. § 245(b), which prohibits any individual from interfering or attempting to interfere with any person from, among other things, voting or “participating in or enjoying any benefit, service, privilege, program . . . or activity provided or administered by the United States.”

In its DOJ complaint letter, No Labels also details how the evidence shows that these nefarious activities represent violations of both the organization’s and voters’ First and Fourteenth Amendment Rights.

Aw the poor lambs. Why doesn’t everyone support their efforts to give the country to the fascists? Won’t everyone please think of the third party lunatics who never put in the grassroots work but always want to run for President? So weird how no one likes a spoiler acting for the right wing.

We see you, trickheads, and we remember. Nader, Nader, Sanders/Stein.

Did they return the money to donors that want it back for being conned by no labels?

I not longer click through to Elon Musk’s destroyed Twitter. What’s the CNN article say? I don’t feel like hunting.

Jill Stein is running for the Green Party, not No Labels. So did Ralph Nader and it cost Lieberman the vice presidency. He is not trying to help Republicans.

Sen. Lieberman floated Nikki Haley has a candidate. She would take far more votes from Trump than Biden but Democratic party grassroots operatives have allegedly been colluding to try to keep No Labels from getting a candidate on state ballots. That is the complaint that was made to the Justice Department by a former US attorney.

Lieberman hates the democratic party. Remember he ran his last campaign as an I.
