Some of the early donors were in the dark about No Labels intentions. Now that we know Harlan Crow is a major donor it's obvious that the game plan is to help Trump. |

It depends on the representations of the people who were soliciting the donations. Clearly they feel they have a case for false representation. |

In its letter, No Labels asks the Department of Justice, based on the evidence submitted, to investigate the operatives behind this anti-democratic conspiracy of intimidation and harassment for violations of various federal laws including: 18 U.S.C. § 1951, an anti-extortion statute. 18 U.S.C. § 241, which prevents individuals from conspiring to oppress, threaten or intimidate any person “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same.” 18 U.S.C. § 245(b), which prohibits any individual from interfering or attempting to interfere with any person from, among other things, voting or “participating in or enjoying any benefit, service, privilege, program . . . or activity provided or administered by the United States.” In its DOJ complaint letter, No Labels also details how the evidence shows that these nefarious activities represent violations of both the organization’s and voters’ First and Fourteenth Amendment Rights. https://www.nolabels.org/dojcomplaint |

Jill Stein is running for the Green Party, not No Labels. So did Ralph Nader and it cost Lieberman the vice presidency. He is not trying to help Republicans. Sen. Lieberman floated Nikki Haley has a candidate. She would take far more votes from Trump than Biden but Democratic party grassroots operatives have allegedly been colluding to try to keep No Labels from getting a candidate on state ballots. That is the complaint that was made to the Justice Department by a former US attorney. |
