"No Labels" Party

Manchin is not going to run.

Like it or not, Biden will be POTUS another 4 years.

Move on.

If, on the other hand, Biden is continuing to struggle and is not likely to keep his coalition in place for 2024, he should drop out and endorse Manchin.

Manchin is an insurance policy against Trump.

Hello!! Manchin is 76 years old! What is it with you people and your obsession with elderly candidates? No one over 75 should be voted into a 4 year term. That threshold should maybe even be as low 70. I just don't get it. 1st Trump, then Biden, and now the thought of a 76 year old being a possible alternative to them?? It's as if the average American IQ dropped 30 points in recent years.

Yeah but work like hell to make sure that Biden gets in office and that the GOP is so soundly thrashed that they have to return to normalcy. We need two functioning parties; the Democrats can’t hold everything up alone.

The fact that the primary complaint that people make about Biden is his age (which is actually just ageism when there’s no compelling evidence for his decline) and that the man the GOP’s No Labels wants to run is basically the same age should tell you what an unserious proposition the GOP’s No Labels party is.

The age factor isn't necessarily a critique of a candidate's current mental and physical status. It has to do with the likelihood of a candidate being able to remain physically and mentally fit enough to handle a very demanding job for a full four year term. This isn't a debatable complaint against Biden, it's a legitimate weakness of Trump, Biden, and anyone else their age confirmed by science and common sense.

It is a free country, but people really need to understand how craven they are.

Oopsie indeed.

““No Labels has shifted seismically from its original mission, and its donors, like the Dursts, who believed in the mission and financially supported it, should not have to stand idly by,” the suit contends, adding that had “No Labels ever given any indication that it might pursue such a gambit, the Dursts never would have funded the organization.”

“That is because, in a presidential election, anyone who votes for a third-party candidate votes on neither side,” the suit says. “Indeed, no third-party candidate has ever won a presidential election or even come close to doing so.””

Although even the briefest of seconds of thought about this “centrist” both sides garbage group would have yielded that they’re attempting to do an end run around democracy. That’s kind of their whole point.

Will more secret big money donors come forward and follow suit?

They need to return the money to these donors if they did not disclose this third party candidate nonsense when they took the money.

That isn't a moderate/centrist ticket. That is a traditional GOP ticket. What moderate/pro-choice independent would support this?

Most of them want to run someone who will damage Biden and put Trump in office. So, they won't be coming forward.
