Same.

I don’t like Martina McBride now because she commented positively on one of Jen’s posts. Martina freaking McBride.

Yes, and I'm cautious now about Tricia Yearwood and Ree Drummond for the same reasons.

Also Savannah Guthrie and Kimberley Paisley (? Do i have the right name?) and even (sniff) Jennifer Garner who i really like

Me too! I really gave these women more credit and thought they'd be able to see through her bullcrap.

Remember when David Sedaris sent her a postcard?

Why, David, why?

I actually liked one of her stories about washing her pillows. When she can’t see herself in a video (camera on the pillow) she is actually not terrible! Less of that self conscious nonsense. And I related about the gross pillows!

-an avowed JH hater here who found this one story not actually terrible.

Jen these days brings the energy of a super cringy youth pastor who is 40 but hangs out with the 15 year olds outside of church because he thinks he’s cool and thinks he talks and dresses cool but just sounds like a creepy dude.

You can’t give up on everyone Jen hosts on her podcast - Jennifer garner, ree Drummond, Sharon McMahon, etc. These are not people who have signed up to be her best friend or to have her as their mentor, they just agreed to do a 45 minute conversation with her. That’s it. They cannot be expected to do deep dives on the trajectory of everyone who interviews them.

I agree but when i see them posting comments that are almost fangirly or give that bff vibe it makes me cringe

Can’t believe she finally had a halfway decent post and i missed it?

I agree. These people are promoting stuff on her podcast. These decisions are made between their publicists and Jen's "team." It's not an endorsement. I think it's the equivalence of actors having to do the rounds on talk shows and with random press outlets before a movie comes out.

Except for Kimberly Williams Paisley. She's really friends with her, but she's also a C list celebrity.

C-list? father of the Bride and married to Brad Paisley?

Father of the Bride was 30 years ago. She's been in Hallmark-type movies for the past two decades. Brad Paisley hasn't had a hit in over ten years, either, and Accidental Racist was the nail in the coffin for his career. Like Jen, trying too hard to be woke and not able to keep up with trends in his own genre.

Jen either edited her latest instagram pic, or she's on the ozempic train too. There's no way these perimenoupausal women like Sarah Bessey and Jen are just suddenly dropping this many pounds naturally at these ages. And I get that commenting on body types is problematic but both of them have been public about body positivity but talking about that without talking about the meds you're on is such a grift.

Tyler's sexual innuendo on her most recent post. "Jennifer… Though this is in no way appropriate for a man such as myself. I cannot put into words how badly you are making me want to eat your meat."

He's gross.

Jen looks so skinny in her most recent post....the pic with the black t shirt and green skirt. When did that happen!?

To quote Rose Nylund from The Golden Girls, “It’s been my experience that people who talk about it (sex) a lot don’t do it very often.”
