| My DH thinks that most people eat soup every day during winter. Is he right? How often do you eat soup? |
|
Last night for dinner and today for lunch.
When we make soup this is our usual cycle. Everyday? No |
|
1) Are you counting ramen as soup? I love ramen and eat it year round.
2) If just non-ramen soup, I'd say pretty rarely in the spring/summer, a bit more frequently in the fall, and then at least a couple times a week in the winter. We really like making soup when we can because it's not that labor intensive and can feed our family for at least a couple days, often longer. Chili is good for this too. 3) Are you counting chili? I do think assuming people have soup daily is a bit much. I think my dad does, because he loves soup, but the average person no. |
| DH would eat it every day. I like it, but I get tired of it. |
| I make a pot of soup once or twice a week in the winter and maybe once every week or two in the fall. I often make gazpacho in the summer but other than that, not at all in the summer, and not often in the spring. My kids and I love soup and its an easy way to get a lot of veggies in. |
| Every Friday I have matzo ball soup in honor of Shabbat. |
| We have soup or pashtida once a week - and use up all the wilted veggies. Both very easy to pack for school lunch. |
| Sometimes? Probably every week or two? More in the winter but honestly plenty in the summer too I just do light chicken broths and cold beet or zucchini soup in the summer and more hearty split pea soup type things in the winter. |
| Maybe3-5 times a month. |
| Never. I hate soups |
|
I love soup and would eat it everyday for lunch. I make a pot for dinner almost every week.
In Europe I lived with a host gaming that had a light veggie soup almost every night as the first course, like a teacup of soup. |
| Probably twice a week. I’m including ramen though. I doctor it up a bit with chicken and veggies but it’s quick and easy and one of DDs favorite dinners. |
| Someone in the family has it daily, year round. I make it typically 2x/week. |
| About every other day this time of the year. A favorite lunch option. |
| 4 times a week in the winter |
