I have watched more television series in the past two years than in the past thirty.
Please help me find some that are have minimal sex, gore, gratuitous profanity. Liked: Period pieces: Downtown Abbey, The Paradise, Mr. Selfridge, Poldark, Call the Midwife, The Crown, All Creatures Great and Small, Line of Separation K-Dramas: Crash Landing on You, Descendents of the Sun, This is my First Life, Chocolate, Something in the Rain, One Spring Night Sci-Fi: Lost in Space. Away, Stowaway(movie) Soapy Dramas: A Place Like Home Found hard to take: Ted Lasso, VEEP (funny but so profane) The Americans, A French Village (fascinating plot lines but too much sex and violence) The Irishman (movie, but so violent) Any suggestions that meet my criteria would be appreciated! TIA |

Try British murder mysteries. Not fiction, but I adore Gardener's World (also British).
Maybe Emily in Paris, Virgin River. Soapy but fun. If you want to re-watch something older, I recently re-watched Parenthood and Private Practice and it was great fun. DO NOT try White Lotus, The Morning Show, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Succession, Billions... |
| Happy Endings on Netflix. It is like comedy cotton candy in the best possible way. |

I’ve really enjoyed Station 11.
It has a very whimsical quality that’s almost like magical realism. Civilization collapses and the story follows a traveling symphony/theater group. It hits a little close to home because it’s a flu that kills everyone. There is a small amount of violence but it’s not graphic and it’s almost as reminder of how fragile these communities and humanity truly is. |
| Star Trek Next Generation |

Kim's convenience, single drunk female, abbot elementary.
Only murders in the building has one or two gory moments but that's all. The Martian is a movie but other than the first 5 minutes it isn't gory and I really like it. Do you like reality or only scripted series? |
| The good place, the middle. Maybe Grace and Frankie? |
I agree with this. Voyager too. The Orville I've heard outlander Is pretty good |
| Resident Alien on SyFy |
| Offspring |
Drinking and hooking up. That’s it. Every episode. |
Agree. Father Brown, Inspector Lewis and the like. We got a Britbox subscription because we’ve enjoyed them so much. |
| I agree with the suggestion of The Good Place. |
Outlander has tons of sex and violence!!! Seriously. There’s even graphic torture. |
| American Horror Story. |
