Just remember they have the votes to pass all the anti voting laws.
HB 149 Absentee ballots; witness requirement, printed name and residence address. HB 34, also patroned by Republican Delegate Ronnie Campbell, and HB 178 would ban drop-off locations for completed absentee ballots, essentially requiring them to be delivered by mail or directly to a registrar. HB 39 would reduce the time period during which in-person absentee voting, also known as early voting, could occur from a period of 45 days prior to an election down to 14 days prior to an election. HB 24 and HB 46 would implement a photo ID requirement at voting precincts. Currently Virginia voters can use non-photo ID, such as a birth certificate or utility bill in their name, to cast their vote. The bills would also repeal language allowing voters to use expired driver’s licenses to vote. They are very likely to pass since they only need 1 dem in the state senate. |

Thread title is deliberately misleading. None of those Bills would prevent registered voters from voting.

It would prevent me from voting. - registered voter |
And anyone else with an expired license. |
Not if you simply chose to comply with the law. |
But you’re still driving, right? Of course. |
I comply with the voter laws today. These proposed laws would prevent me from voting. |
Not to my polling place. |
| Notwithstanding last year’s results, Republicans know the only way they can consistently win is if they suppress the vote, so they are going to spend the next four years trying to do just that. |
| You knew this was going to happen. This is what republicans do. There is nothing you can do about it. It’s not like republicans believe in voting, the constitution or this country. |
But everywhere else? |
why are we changing something that isn't broken? |
Because it’s the only way for Republicans to win. Lie, cheat, steal. |
| Why is it necessary to change the voting laws? |
