I'm the person you replied to: Great analysis. |
I would recommend that you just stop. Blake’s lawyers called Taylor’s lawyers and threatened them. They’re so desperate for good PR that they’re losing their minds. All of her friends have turned against her so she’s calling in favors from CAA and they’re lending out Salma Hayak. Let it sink in how sad that is. Justin Baldoni actually gained about half a million followers on Instagram since this ordeal. He’s likely going to go to the Oscars next year for any number of films he is working on. He probably has an advantage that he’s a mostly behind the scenes player so can stay out of the spotlight which is honestly the best thing he could be doing, and what Blake and Ryan should try to be doing too. Instead, they’re doing the opposite, and it continues to blow up in their face. This story is in the news playing out every week because of her desperate attempts to shift the narrative. If she were just lay low, we probably wouldn’t be talking about it nearly as much. And now we found out she has threatened Taylor. Which prompted another huge negative news cycle and Taylor feeling forced to release that very damaging statement. At every turn, they’re digging deeper and deeper screwing up more and more. |
I do think they sat in their kitchen and gamed this out. And I think they had lawyers coaching them on how to play it too. I also don’t think it’s the first time she’s tried to seduce a man to extort him. She failed to seduce Justin, so they pivoted to just making up shit. |
I know this thread is theoretically about talking about how much we hate Blake Lively and how she's going to lose her court case, but this is a super cute outfit and she looks great here:

The Baldoni supporters are sort of oddly hysterical this weekend. Shouldn’t they be riding the big high of Freedman’s triple hearsay affidavit, struck or not? I don’t really understand them but if they want to spend their Sunday making post after weird post in here, whatevs. I’ll wait to see what the filings show. |
Also, I thought it was interesting that both Lively and Liman specifically made a point of not mentioning Taylor Swift's name in any of their filings on the Motion to Strike issue. It was only Freedman who kept invoking Swift over and over and over again, basically doing what the judge was accusing him of doing, and using her name for publicity and ego gratification. |
Blake is the one who dragged Taylor into this. Used her name because she knows she has no clout. |
Nobody cares about your creepy play by play obsession with filings. We all know it is just attorneys on both sides racking up billable hours. Baldoni will prevail because everyone with a three digit IQ can see this was a hoax scheme. The only question is how thick are Blake and Ryan and how much longer will they let attorneys, crisis consultants, public relations, and tabloids rob them before they get serious about settling and paying victims what they’re entitled to for this hoax. |
Silly me, I thought it was Blake who first dragged her “dragon” into this holding her music rights over the studio’s head, name dropping her in texts to Justin, and making sure she was present for her zesty husband’s set up screaming match at their penthouse. |
Just days ago Blake’s lawyers made a statement to the press invoking Taylor’s name after the subpoena went out. Nice try though. |
It's really touching how worried you are for Lively and Reynolds' finances. |
You are mixing up facts. The day that Taylor showed up at Blake's house and met Justin was just a normal meeting. Taylor said she'd read the rooftop scene and liked it. That's it. This is the sum total of Justin Baldoni's interactions with Taylor Swift. |
Thanks! That was not me, but I feel encouraged to have others who share similar opinions. Lulz. |
The SNL thing, Ryan’s fake fans all holding the same photo and new pen, and now clinging to a washed up boomer actress. Talk about desperate. lol |
The irony is that if Baldoni had been a bit more of a jerk, he wouldn't have been ensnared by their traps. |
