Cancel Swimming lessons because of Omicron?

Anonymous
Should we still go? It seems like Omicron is everywhere. Group swim lessons start next week for my 2 kids (6 &7). I need to cancel lessons today to get a refund.
I think we should do it but DH is on the fence.

WWYD?

TIA

I’m skipping this weekend and next, will reevaluate case rates the last week in January.

Same. My three kids do a program where there's a good bit of congregating at the ends of the lanes, and I'd rather avoid that for now.

We stopped swim for a few weeks. Not worth the risk.

Us too. 6-8 kids per lane.

NP. What about private lessons? So just 1 kid 1 adult in the lane.

We cancelled and then we got COVID, so we’ll be starting back up again in a few weeks!

Not cancelling.

We’re leading our normal lives, fully vaccinated, without regard to COVID. Just got back from the gym, working out while my kids had swim team practice.

Ours don't start for another couple of weeks, but we aren't canceling.
