HSPT Results

The HSPT placement tests are back from 12/11, per kids DC's middle school. And of course, I cannot remember the St. John's Portal website or my password.

How do parents get the scores? DC took it at Bishop Ireton on 12/4 and I can see that they have the scores. Will they send via email or snail mail?

I am logged into the St. John's portal, but don't see HSPT scores updated. How do parents get the scores?

From ADW website: All parents/guardians of students taking the HSPT in December and January will receive a copy of their child’s HSPT scores via email, in January 2022. All test results will be emailed from Scholastic Testing Services, Inc. Electronic results will be emailed from reports@ststesting.com. Scores will not be released until all archdiocesan testing is completed and all scores are available for release. ADW Catholic schools and the HSPT Office are not permitted to release students’ scores.

BI is in not in the ADW, but I assume based on this that the scores will be released after the 1/08 test is scored?

Here is a link to the portal (I needed to go through my browsing history to get it):
https://stjohnschs.schooladminonline.com/users/sign_in

All they have is a check that the HSPT scores were received - they do not have actual results

My DD took it the same day. It is frustrating that ADW has different distribution plans than ADA (Arlington). It is my understanding that VA students received results in Dec.

I am in Virginia and my DC took it 12/4. My student has not received the scores yet, but the schools have received them.

It is annoying that schools know scores, but students do not. I don't like it.

That said, having been through this once, if your student applied to SJC, and they receive an invite to the scholars brunch, you can be assured the scores were excellent. The brunch invites will probably go out next week.

Also, my daughter is applying to Holy Cross and received an email to schedule an interview for a merit scholarship. I wonder if they only interview those who have decent scores. Anyone know?

Per Holy Cross info:
Gillespie STEM Scholarship candidates may only interview if they have met the objective criteria of enrollment in an Algebra I course (or higher) and the Admission Office has received an additional recommendation by Monday, January 17, 2022.
