What are your travel plans for 2022?

I haven't planned anything yet, and am unsure where we will be able to go this year with the pandemic. I'm interested in hearing what other people have planned for the year!

Heading to Sanibel for MLK weekend
Puerto Rico for spring break
Home to Georgia for a graduation in May
Still working on summer plans
We typically stay home at winter break but travel for Thanksgiving break. I just don’t know how feasible Europe will be this year but willing to consider it if things look better later. Otherwise, yet another domestic trip, or possibly Canada

We have our usual week in Cape Charles booked for late July/early August. We go with friends and always have a great, relaxing time. That's it, so far, but I'd like to take a trip sometime this spring, after Omicron settles down.

I also am determined to get away for the week between Christmas and New Years in 2022. Tempted to book something luxurious now just to have it planned and revisit if need be.

Just walked back in the door from Italy, unlikely to head back to Europe in 2022. If we do, maybe Portugal in September.

March - hopping around the BVI
July - husband is planning something - I think we may end up in the DR, Out Islands of Bahamas, of Jamaica. All on our 'list' to hit every Caribbean Island.
September - maybe Portugal??
December - Grenada, Bequia, Union Island for the holidays

I sadly have a bunch of work travel to not fun places sprinkled in.

Do it! We tend to book a year plus out for these trips. The flights can wait. We booked 2022, in October 2021.

I haven't booked much yet but here's some plans.

February- Weekend Canaan Valley, WV

March- Spring break Destin, Fl. (first flight since the pandemic began. I thought my 3 year old would be vaxxed by then but it will not be happening so N95 style masks will be purchased.

April- home to DC for Easter/long weekend

May- VA beach prior to Memorial day with pup

Memorial day- ??

July: Week at Lake George over 4th of July

July: Maine/Quebec or Maine/New Hampshire, IDK!

September: TBD, camping probably.

October: Canaan Valley, leaf peeping!

Christmas break: TBD, Lake Placid or Quebec province....we love snow and snow activities though not really into skiing!

We initially planned a 2.5 week Europe trip though I hadn't booked it but with covid and kids struggling with behaviors, it's not the right time so to the outdoors we will go!

Here's our plan - most everything is booked:

January - Long weekends to ski in NY (Catskills) and MD (Deep Creek Lake)
February - St John USVI for winter break
April - More skiing in Mammoth Lakes, CA for spring break
July - Greece for two weeks
August - Nantucket for a week
October - potential long weekend in FL to Disney/Universal (this is the one trip not booked)

The big question is where we are going between Christmas/New Years - debating skiing or beach

We are vaxxed/boosted, and most of my family has also had Covid. We never really stopped traveling in 2020/2021, so have no concerns about booking anything at this point.

No current plans to travel. Saving loads of money by not traveling, and don't want to deal with cancellations.
