Caitlynn Peetz is live-tweeting the MCPS press conference and will presumably have an article out later today:

PP here (and not Caitlynn). You're right, she wasn't live-tweeting - my mistake. She is a good source of this information, though, and is the first place I saw the list of schools posted.

I hope our district doesn’t follow the stupidity, but if they do, I would be most mad for the fact they didn’t announce it beforehand! We could have stayed at our destination longer and traveled in the off peak days

You are completely ridiculous!

I think its the staff testing and also the self report. One of my DC is at one of those schools and we had a daily email about cases leading up to the break, for the last 5-7 days. Not surprised. Also, just an fyi, we are in one of the most vaccinated zip codes in the county so its not that.

Rock Terrance is only showing one total case on the MCPS Covid-19 Dashboard. How are they in the red.

The dashboard is incorrect and has been for quite some time now.

Does anyone know where we can find a list of the yellow schools?

+1
It says right at the top "The information in this dashboard contains data from the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, August 31 to Dec. 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m." It was only ever updated once per week, and definitely didn't keep up with the last week's onslaught of letters.

They haven't made it public yet.
