No threads on Landon’s Kristian Fletcher signing for Dortmund?

Congratulations to Landon, his family, and Bethesda SC! I hope that he has great success and that other kids follow in his footsteps. On a slightly different topic, it sucks that kids need to have a European passport to be able to do this before they turn 18.

Have not heard of him until this thread. No real fan fair or talk. That’s awesome for him. Can’t wait to see how he plays and progresses.

Almost no one in this forum knows who Kristian Fletcher is, nor Bryang Kayo or any other young American playing in Europe who is less famous than Christian Pulisic or (maybe) Gio Reyna. Almost none of them could even name the homegrown teens playing for DC United. Head over to the youth national team forums on Big Soccer if you want that level of conversation.

He’s a kid at Landon playing for Bethesda sc.

It’s as local as you can get!

Ya, it's because he's black. Even though the USMNT had 7 black guys start last game, we are still going to push your racism first narrative.

Whatever we can do to stop progress, we are going to do. Omicron, theta, eta, lambda, I will scare you with Greek letters. We will destroy all people with the variants. Get your booster or die! Go Spurs.

So does one of his parents have a European passport?

So what's the story, was he ridiculously talented from an early age or does he have a dad who played professional soccer in the UK since he has a British passport

Does a UK passport even help with Germany (EU) at this point? He must have something else.

Google is your friend

However, if you hold a British passport and travel to Europe using it, you will need a visa to enter the EU for work, residency or long term study.

He was the W Post All-Met player of the year and deservedly so. He's on another level. Some of the W Post All-met picks were good, others were puzzling. Makes one wonder where the W Post beat writer gets his info. E.g., WJ crushed St Albans, yet St Albans has 2 first team all-mets? They didn't even win the IAC tournament.
