What’s everyone getting their DH’s for Christmas?

I need inspiration. My husband has a birthday near Christmas so I need something for that too.

Nothing. He got his car valet cleaned last weekend and that cost $180.

A Britbox subscription. He’s got a weird love of British tv.

Nothing. We don’t ever exchange gifts

A wine subscription from a place in San Francisco
Fancy EVOO
A new keyboard piano
Anonymous
a fancy sweat suit from aviator nation
apple TV
noise machine
new sheets for bed
new towels

DH also had a bday after christmas... need to get something for this, but was thinking something like a massage

We generally think of something we need or want that stretches the budget and agree it's our gift to each other, whether that's new tires, new paint for a room of the house, or whatever.

But this year, we are going on our first vacation in 3 years right after Christmas, so it's that, and a little more "gift" like.

This is a great idea- but I just went on their website and you can't use it via roku/amazon/apple tv. Have you done this before? How are you redeeming it?

Ugh, same.

So far I have:

Dr. Squatch soap gift set
couple pairs of nice running shorts
Hey Dude shoes

Well that's practical and also depressing.

New pants, which he needs for work.

A Smartwool base layer shirt and pair of socks.

A couple books.

All-Clad frying pans.

New towels, he's been complaining about ours for a while.

I'd like to get one more thing, something maybe we could do together. Thinking maybe a subscription to the Criterion Collection and a book about the top must-see movies of all time or something. Still thinking on it.

I'm surprised by the people saying they never exchange gifts with their spouse. My DH is my only chance for a decent gift! Kids are too small to buy gifts and our parents/siblings just honestly don't know us well enough (and we no longer exchange gifts with them). Of course we can buy things for ourselves but we take pleasure in buying each other gifts we know the other person has been wishing for. Plus we'll put effort into selecting new books or music we think the other will enjoy, and often choose things the other person might not have thought to buy for themselves. Selecting books and certain clothing items is probably where I put the most effort.

NFL jersey to replace his current tattered one
Two renovated bathrooms (mostly kidding - but whenever I ask what he wants he says "aren't we both getting new bathrooms??")

When I can think of something awesome I love surprising him, but he buys himself most things that he wants and can never think of a request so it's a heavy lift. We're batting around the idea of phasing out buying for adults at Christmas at this point.
