I'd like to get one more thing, something maybe we could do together. Thinking maybe a subscription to the Criterion Collection and a book about the top must-see movies of all time or something. Still thinking on it.

I'm surprised by the people saying they never exchange gifts with their spouse. My DH is my only chance for a decent gift! Kids are too small to buy gifts and our parents/siblings just honestly don't know us well enough (and we no longer exchange gifts with them). Of course we can buy things for ourselves but we take pleasure in buying each other gifts we know the other person has been wishing for. Plus we'll put effort into selecting new books or music we think the other will enjoy, and often choose things the other person might not have thought to buy for themselves. Selecting books and certain clothing items is probably where I put the most effort.[/quote]
