I have had PLENTY of opportunities and offers throughout my marriage. But I’m an honest person with morals and self-control.

Cool, and I can find 10 articles that refute this one person's opinion. Persons is perfectly acceptable in this situation. I see you have trouble admiting when you're wrong. My heart goes out to the people that have to deal with you in your life.
