Did Lawyer Lisa Bloom Pay Women to Accuse President Trump of Sexual Assault?

https://www.snopes.com/news/2018/01/02/lawyer-paid-women-to-accuse-trump/

Harth told us the fact that Bloom set up a GoFundMe account which raised $2,317 on her behalf and arranged for a donor to pay off her mortgage does not affect the veracity of her story.

Harth definitely got her mortgage paid off.

1,000,000 women could say Trump raped them. They could cry, and get legal representation, and give interviews. But unless they have evidently, it’s just a claim.

If I came to your house and said your husband raped me, would you call the police on him and get a divorce lawyer immediately?

If 24 women came to your house and said your husband raped them, I should think at some point it would dawn on you that you’re married to a predator.

Donald bragged about sexually assaulting women. Your ongoing defense of a pervert and dirtbag is so gross.

So if you found out that the 13 year old that was accusing your husband of rape had never been interviewed by a journalist or LE, you’d think he was a pedo, right?

So if you found out your husband had been accused of rape by a 13 year old you would not at all do any investigation into that? You would support him with no question? I would not. I would fully support investigations into determining what happened to either clear his name or expose him for who he is.

Katie Johnson has never been SEEN by a journalist, much less law enforcement. How do you suggest the incident be investigated? “Katie” wears wigs and makes YouTube videos detectives can watch? Have you read anything Vox and Daily Beast have published? No one has ever seen her in person!

I've posted numerous times that I think that the Johnson accusation was likely fake. But there are many many more women that are credible and of course there is Donald's own words.

“In a New York Times article published a month before the 2016 election, Harth acknowledged that, even after she had accused Trump of sexual misconduct, she briefly dated him in 1998.

The Trump campaign also released emails from 2015 in which Harth, who now owns a cosmetics company, solicited the candidate for opportunities to do his hair and makeup. The Hill reported in December 2017 that Harth acknowledged sending the messages. That report came on the heels of another story in The Hill, which reported that after Harth publicly aired her allegations during the campaign, an unidentified donor came forward to pay the balance of a mortgage on Harth’s New York apartment.

Harth, in a statement published on the website of The Hill, said the stories were an attempt to malign her and her attorney, Lisa Bloom, characterizing the political journalism site as “an apologist for Trump and a rag for right-wing hit jobs."

Harth told ABC News in November 2017 she stands by her allegations but doesn’t want to speak any more about Trump.”

See? This accuser: dated him, sued him, accused him, and asked to be given a job to do his hair and makeup during the campaign. And an UNIDENTIFIED DONOR PAID OFF HER MORTGAGE during this debacle.

Trump accuser lobbied to be his makeup artist months before her sex assault allegations roiled campaign

A New York cosmetics executive who publicly alleged Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1990s repeatedly solicited the future president to become his campaign makeup artist and to pitch her new product line in the months before her story roiled the 2016 presidential race, according to the woman and her contemporaneous emails.

"Hi Donald, you are doing a tremendous job of shaking things up in the United States. I am definitely on Team Trump as so many others are," Jill Harth wrote Trump in an Oct. 1, 2015, email sent to him through his New York company's headquarters.

"I can't watch television without seeing you or hearing your name everywhere! It's a good thing for sure but PLEASE let me do your makeup for a television interview, a debate, a photo session, anything!" Harth wrote.

"It kills me to see you looking too orange and with white circles under the eyes. I will get your skin looking smoother and even toned," she added, boasting she would "sculpt your face" to look good on high-definition television sets.

In another email seeking to meet Trump personally, Harth offered to be a campaign surrogate willing to tell voters how Trump "helped me with my self-confidence and all positive things about how he is with women."

The emails use starkly different language than the words Harth used in both a withdrawn 1997 federal lawsuit and a series of late 2016 campaign interviews in which she accused Trump of sexually assaulting her more than two decades ago. Harth is one of 19 women who have reportedly accused Trump of sexual misconduct.

Harth acknowledged to The Hill that between the summer of 2015 and early 2016, as the presidential campaign was gearing up, she approached Trump's corporate assistant and sent personal appeals directly to Trump seeking the business.

Trump's lawyers subsequently gave The Hill the contemporaneous emails Harth sent to him to confirm her account about her business solicitations. The Hill then interviewed her again this weekend. Harth's emails surfaced publicly during the 2016 presidential race.

The emails to Trump show Harth personally made the request to meet him at the South Carolina event and made a total of four different requests to do the president's makeup, the first being sent on Aug. 6, 2015, to Graff.

In a Jan. 5, 2016, email to Graff, she also volunteered to attest publicly that Trump treated women nicely, including herself.

"I also want to put it out there that I would be willing to say at a rally or somewhere how [Trump] helped me with my self-confidence and all positive things about how he is with women to counter any potential negativity that may come out at some point in the campaign," she wrote to Graff.

"I have always been very fond of Donald and I CARE about him," Harth wrote to Graff in August.

I would assume that PP's DH isn't a well-known philanderer who bragged on tape about grabbing women's genitals and who had unprotected sex with a porn star while she was recovering from delivering his baby.

But if he were such a character, I would assume she just might believe a 13 year old's allegation.

In other words men can get away with anything if they can make sure there is no "evidence."

Kristin Anderson

After nearly a quarter-century, there are details that Anderson struggled to recall.

The place was packed.

“There was a table in front of the couch, and there were people standing, people sitting. People are sitting on the arms of the couch,” she said.

She cannot name the people who were with her at the club but says it is likely they were co-workers from the restaurant where she was a hostess and with whom she long ago lost touch.

She believed her encounter with Trump had been at China Club but could not say for sure that it was not another Manhattan nightspot.

What she does remember vividly is the tufted red couch. As she pondered whether to share her story publicly, she Googled old photos of the club and found an image of a room crowded with the kind of couch she remembered.

Timothy Gleason, a longtime China Club manager, said he “never heard any accusations like” what Anderson described about Trump.

I am not going to look up each person - I started at the bottom......

Lisa Boyne

In her interview with the Huffington Post, Boyne claims that the incident happened at a dinner in summer 1996, when she was 25 and working at a think-tank. She was living in Manhattan and was friends with Sonja Tremont, who would become famous as Sonja Morgan on Real Housewives of New York.

Boyne claims that Morgan invited her to dinner and picked her up at her apartment with Trump. During the limo ride, Trump was “constantly talking about himself, who he was dating, who he was sleeping with,” she claims. “I just remember feeling very surprised and upset.”

At the restaurant, they met Casablancas and five or six other models. They were seated at a table and Trump and Casablancas sat so that the women could only leave the table if they got up. They refused and, Boyne claims, Trump made them get up onto the table to leave. Trump “stuck his head right underneath their skirts,” she claims, to see if they were wearing underwear or to see their genitalia.

Morgan also spoke with the Huffington Post and told the site that the dinner did happen. She even confirmed that the she and Boyne had dinner with Trump and Casablancas at Raoul’s in SoHo. However, she did not recall Trump doing anything lewd at the event.

“I don’t remember any of that kind of behavior,” Morgan told the Post. “But I have been known to dance on tables.”

The Post also spoke with her roommate, Karen Beatrice, who said that Boyne never called her. Boyne was surprised that Beatrice denied the incident happened. Beatrice said that she also met Trump and said he was “nothing but gracious and charming.”[

“Crooks said Trump kissed her on one cheek, then the other cheek, and was talking to her between kisses — asking her where she was from or if she wanted to be a model. He would not let go of her hand and then began kissing her on the lips, she said.“

“It felt like a long kiss,” she said. “The whole thing probably lasted two minutes, maybe less.”

At Trump Tower, no witnesses or cameras? A 2 minute kiss. That’s your assault? And she told no one?

Jesssica Drake said Trump offered her 10K for a hook up.

“Once there, Drake said, Trump grabbed each woman tightly and kissed them without their consent.”

“This is not acceptable behavior for anyone, much less a presidential candidate," Drake said at the press conference. "I realize that in this situation, I may be but a tiny grain of sand, but clearly this is an enormous beach."

Drake said she told some friends about the experience immediately after it happened, but that she wouldn't share their names with the press.“

Ok don’t share their names.

Huh. 1) where are people dying in Democratic strongholds and 2) oh my god this is an emergency! why hasn’t anyone reported this!?! 3) how do you know it isn’t because of the increased pollution caused by Donald weakening the EPA and regulations? 4) Donald Trump is a pervert and a rapist. I mean, maybe you make sick sexual comments about your daughter. I don’t, because that’s perverted, but maybe that’s why you think he’s normal.

For the record Trump defender. I'm not saying that each woman's account constitutes a criminal action. Just that collectively they add up to a guy with a long history of being entitled to women's bodies.

Why make up such a mild offense? If you were going to put your name out in the press to be tarred and feathered like you suggest then one would think they would all be salacious.

Instead of what they all are, which is just skeevy gross encounters that occasionally go too far that take place over a broad swath of time where Trump himself ADMITS to being an aggressive womanizer.

Cathy Heller

“It was a story Heller had told many friends and family members over the years, but is only now telling in public. Some 20 years ago, she claims, when she met Donald Trump for the first and only time, he grabbed her, went for a kiss, and grew angry with her as she twisted away. “Oh, come on,” she alleges that he barked, before holding her firmly in place and planting his lips on hers.”

Trump made the rounds greeting members of his club. When he stopped at their table, Heller recalled, and her mother-in-law introduced her, she stood and extended her hand.
“He took my hand, and grabbed me, and went for the lips,” she claimed.
Alarmed, she said she leaned backwards to avoid him and almost lost her balance. “And he said, ‘Oh, come on.’ He was strong. And he grabbed me and went for my mouth and went for my lips.” She turned her head, she claims, and Trump planted a kiss on the side of her mouth. “He kept me there for a little too long,” Heller said. “And then he just walked away.”

I'd absolutely be looking at him a little differently and want to know his side of the story, I certainly would not immediately dismiss you. But I also have a history of knowing my husband as someone who treats women well. Conversely Donald Trump has openly talked about his fondness for manhandling women and how he takes what he wants without being asked. In addition he has openly done super skeevy very public crap like walking through the dressing rooms at the Ms. teen USA pageant.

I think if 22 women came forward and said they had been sexually assaulted by your husband, and they all shared strikingly similar MOs, then you would probably look into the whole situation pretty closely. Especially if you also had a bunch of stories from porn actresses giving corroborated stories about being paid off not to talk about f*cking him. And he'd also made braggartly comments to the media, repeatedly, about how he just takes what he wants when it comes to women. With all those things together I think you might start wondering - *could* this all be true?

Unless you had a good reason not to look too closely - like you were never in it because he was a decent human being, and you needed him to keep supporting you because you had nothing on your own. Then you might choose to wear jackets that say I REALLY DON'T CARE because what other choice do you have.
