The difference was the VYS thread was nearly all internal ranting about everything wrong with the club. The Barca thread is pretty much people who have never set foot on Evergreen complaining about a club that has no affect on them in any way.

There's nothing tongue in cheek about that. You just twisted "the gist" of previous posts to fit your agenda of bashing this club. Same agenda you always have when you comment in this thread. This time it was just more obvious than usual, which is why you got called out on it.

It seems that what really bothers you is that the Barca Academy claims to offer something new and different, and you don't like new and different, which is why you always seem to wind up defending the status quo.

Then, when people at the club defended their experience at the club they were then told there was no way they possibly could be happy based on the cost and the tourney results. The Barca folks again tried to frame their position in other ways why they were happy. Then critics simply called them zealots and propagandist.

And here you are, a reporter saying nothing more than, “no, I just don’t like you.” Which is the gist of what all the critics have simply been saying. And that is still just a deflection and has nothing to do with the original basic question of the club. So now that you have admitted what your issue is, it is time for others to simply do the same and just move on from the thread because you or many of the other “critics” are not legitimately interested in the actual club.

I've said many times, soccer parents need to chill out. Great you like the club, great you hate the club. Doesn't matter and as a consumer you can choose where you spend your money. I don't love BARCA for many reasons, but I can't complain about the equality and quality of their training.

1. I am not criticizing Barca. I'm in no position to do so. I think they may have placed some of their teams in leagues for which they weren't prepared, but that happens. It's not a big deal.

2. I AM criticizing people who react to even the slightest question as if we're all spitting on Cruyff's grave.

Never having read any of your books I am pretty sure they are bad because I don’t like you.

If we spent 70 pages trashing your books, not having read any of them based on nothing more than how you post on DCUM that would be the equivalent.
