I meant about the candidate's own race, ethnicity, religion or personal life. That's irrelevant.

Now his campaign topics/promises that single out say "white people" and his pro-trans promise of spending millions of taxpayer $$ on gender affirming care...that's all fair game. Just focus on that and don't let other stuff like what religion he is or what his ethinicity he is distract from that. If NYrs want to vote for him then so be it....but have to say...thankfully I don't live in NY.

It depends what you mean here. “Personal life” is where a lot of conflict of interest (Trump) blind spots about our loved ones (Biden) and ethical failings (Clinton) tend to live. For the rest, I agree, and would add “gender” to your list.
