Maddow was a personal choice, I think I read the daily grind on the daily show was tiresome. She wants time to do bigger projects for MSNBC? |

Maddow’s nightly show runs another few months but then they need to find a replacement for 9 pm. She’s backing away from the nightly show but will continue to do specials, podcasts etc. |

I want to say Maddow is taking some time off lately or looking to cut back? Her wife is older and had some health scares in the recent past. I watch MSNBC at times and Joy Reid is not my fave. She comes across as smug and self-satisfied but without the intelligence to offset a smarmy demeanor. I wish they’d give Ali Velshi more of an evening presence/more of his own show vs. just the news segments but maybe people think he’s too boring. |

DP but I would say Mediaite leans right, like its founder Dan Abrams. Watch his nightly show if you don’t think he does. But this particular guy is no longer at Mediaite and is definitely a right-winger based on time at the Washington Examiner and his feed. |
