Do you actually go empty handed to a no gift party?

The first ever no gift party we attended we were the only ones who didn’t bring a gift.

My preschooler got invited to a no gifts please party.

Can we actually show up with no gift?

I hate no gift parties.

I don't bring gifts and no one i know brings gifts. Maybe it depends on your circle.

Yes FFS! Nobody needs more random toys lying around.

Have your child make a homemade card if you really can't cope, or bring something use-uppable like stickers. If I'm not sure I keep a coloring book iny car.

When people say no gifts, they mean it. Please don't be that annoying person who comes with something. At MOST, a card. Some people get around it by taping gift cards inside the card, which is less annoying than actual presents, but still violates the request, and it's also kind of embarrassing, because is the host supposed to thank you for the unwanted gift? See, annoying.

Always bring a gift.

A card. If I have a photo of the kids together, I print it (I have access to a photo printer) and include it in the card.

What about "gifts not necessary"?

I always have a backup gift in the car. I walk in empty handed and then act according to the scene there.

For no gift parties, my kids bring a card and a drawing or something else small and handmade like a beaded necklace or rainbow loom bracelet or something like that.
