I always felt that Vincent was “old” and Maria a nothing burger. I’m starting to really like them.

What are yours?

Maria is one of my favorite girl names.

I am liking Gladys a lot right now, but I doubt I would ever use it.

Jessica. It was so common growing up I didn’t notice it’s actually a beautiful name. I’m waiting for the comeback.

Might happen with the Dune movie. There’s a main character named Jessica and I think hearing the name in a fantasy setting will help people think about as something other than a common name from the 80s/90s.

Daisy is my favorite girls name right now. If I were having another baby and she was a girl, she’d be a Daisy.

I am tired of hearing Theo, but recently heard the name Thaddeus, nn Thad, and it’s definitely growing on me.

Susy/Susan. Mothers-in-laws aside, it really is a beautiful name.

Barbara (baby Barbie!!)
Zelda
Beatrice

I’m always shocked by the names my boomer mom hates. She can’t stand Evelyn and goes on a rant about how ugly it is and I think it’s lovely. Same with Hannah and Stella (she thinks Stella is an ancient woman and I only see spunky little girls)

I never liked these growing up but they definitely have grown on me! Now they seem fun and sweet.
