Not exactly. The Jewish people I know in the US are aghast at the situation, but place the blame squarely on Hamas for attacking Israel in October 7.

I am as moderate and normie as they come - I primarily blame Hamas. I don't think Israel is faultless. I think it would have been smarter and more humane to do more to protect civilians, and to get food and medicine to Palestinians. Not that the world still wouldn't have come out against Israel - I think a lot of pent up hostility and anti-semitism found its opportunity here. But it would have been better. I don't know how you would have done that, but there must have been a way.

I mostly align with this philosophy as well. The dead giveaway was the world blaming Israel on 10/7, weeks before they even launched a counteroffensive. The other dead giveaway is the one or two rabid posters here who keep denying what happened on 10/7.

So Hamas has no idea where their prisoners are or who has died..... The US has tried to broker a peace treaty and ceasefire..... We just air dropped a bunch of supplies to the Palestinians...... Yet I haven't heard anyone come out and praise Biden or any of this...... Or condemn Hamas.
