Even when they see the Israeli govt blockading food trucks with children starving just feet away? For real? They blame that on Hamas? If this is true, the Jewish people in the US have lost the script somewhere.

Hamas takes so much of the aid. I loathe the people blocking aid trucks, but I understand how they feel--that the aid is helping the terrorists more than the ordinary Gazans. Meanwhile, the US, Jordan, France, Egypt, and the UAE are providing air drops of ready-to-eat meals for people in Gaza.

Hamas believes that the more Palestinians that die, the better. They steal the food. They don't wear uniforms - which is perfidy, a war crime - and enmesh themselves among civilians. Their purpose is to cause as many Palestinian deaths as possible in order to turn the world against Israel. I thought they use Gazans as human shields . How is stealing food from their own civilians even possible if they all reside with civilians ? Doesn’t that mean they eat together. Israel has always said Hamas is not separable from Palestinian civilians and they use them as “human shields”.

Israel may need Palestinian collaboration to finally end Hamas .

Palestinians in Gaza should have risen up against Hamas a long time ago. They've always known that Hamas has stolen billions in aid that was meant for infrastructure, water, electricity, and agriculture. Instead, Gaza now has a few hundred miles of tunnels, tens of thousands of primitive rockets, and an elite that spends millions on spa treatments and fine dining in Qatar.

Meanwhile, most Gazans have spent the past twenty years since Israel left living in poverty and utterly dependent on a Hamas patronage system. The UN and aid groups should have pulled out of Gaza a long time go. All they've done is fund a corrupt, genocidal terror regime.

But practically speaking that hasn't been possible, then or now. Hamas does enjoy broad popular support among Palestinians in Gaza. And since October 7th, Hamas has made it clear that will murder any Palestinian for any reason, from civilians wanting food to resisting being used as human shields. Any hint of collaboration with Israel is certain death. And it's not like they can get on the phone and simply call the IDF and offer info on Hamas firing positions or ammo depots and simply walk to the border and be offered refuge in Israel.

I don't see a good end to this. Hamas must be destroyed. And it will be. But Hamas will take as many innocent civilians down with them as they can. Hamas has a martyr complex. They revel in death.

It's problem.

It was probably a poor idea electing Hamas into power in 2005. Guessing Palestinians in Gaza are having some second thoughts about that now.

So Israel is intentionally starving the entire population of Gaza because Hamas is eating some of the food from the trickle of aid trucks let through? That's your reason?
