You're wrong, the underwear were a gift for JonBenet's cousin who was 12 or 13 years old. |
Does anyone know why Santa and his wife were ruled out as suspects? |
I think it had to do with his recent heart surgery. They said that they went to bed at 8pm that night. The guy was a former college professor who was really taken with JonBenet. I will admit that his description of his love for that little girl was a bit....extreme. My own kids had positive relationships with some older people in our neighborhood - and it was really very sweet. But if someone had talked about my kids the way that McReynolds talked about JonBenet I would have been majorly weirded out. I can see why some folks keep going back to that guy as a suspect. I still don't think it was him though. But it does shed some light on the lack of boundaries that Patsy had for the people around JonBenet. I can't imagine letting a guy with such intense feelings about my child go into a room alone with my kid. |
The Smit video seems to indicate that despite spider webs or other debris, the window could have been accessed. It's not like there was a stereotypical round spider web covering the entire window. |
It's always bothered me that the date of death on JonBenet's headstone was 12.25. Very, very weird, IMO. |
Don't forget the grand jury voted to indict the Ramseys for putting their child in such danger as to lead to her death.
And the DNA they found on JonBenet was "touch DNA" meaning it was really just partial DNA. Seems very odd to me that an intruder could have done what they did to her and leave just touch DNA. And the touch DNA didn't match any suspects that the police were aware of. |
Which matches a bracelet her mom gave her too. weird indeed. |
Yep. That isn't convincing to me either. |
The Ramseys got away with it, as the rich often do. |
Another odd thing. See below for some excerpts of the note. If this happened to me, I would be completely focused on getting the money together and dealing with the "kidnappers." It doesn't seem like this was a priority for the Ramseys.
"She is safe and unharmed and if you want her to see 1997, you… will withdraw $118,000… I will call you between 8 and 10 am tomorrow to instruct you on delivery. The delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested. If we monitor you getting the money early, we might call you early to arrange an earlier delivery of the money and hence an earlier pickup of your daughter " |
Bracelet was a Christmas gift so it has 12/25? And maybe the tombstone date was the last day she was alive that they saw her. They want to forget about the nightmare of 12/26. |
Technically/ Hypothetically if the family was involved and they last saw her at 10pm and the head injury and neck injuries are two hours apart based on autopsy .. she would have died on 12/26 unless she died as soon as they came home at 9/10pm and before midnight, no? |
Anyone else think it's weird that an aunt would give her tween/early teen niece panties for Christmas? Maybe from a grandmother but a 40 year old wealthy aunt? |
That is true. But I don't think that the medical examiner could pinpoint a time of death. JonBenet was murdered 12/25 or 12/26. By 12/28 the family was removing items from the home in preparation for JonBenet's funeral. I don't think that the pineapple had been mentioned at that point but I might be wrong.. |
Did they do toxicology on JonBenet? |
