While someone is mentioning Hero’s, how would people compare and contrast Hero’s and M&D as clubs? I assume there may similarities but also real differences. Would be curious if anyone has had first hand experiences with both and could shed some light on this. Or even perspectives on the one club of these two you’ve experienced. Thanks.

I almost feel bad for that M&D DC Dad that posts on here about all the kids staying together. Every time I open this page a new club is coming to the area. I kept trying to tell him to make sure he registers his daughter for other tryouts. I hope he listens for his kids sake.

For that squad, literally the only thing that matters is whether they like playing for the coach, each other and feel their prospects to keep getting better because of the above are good. Not new clubs coming to the area, or posts on DCUM, or anything else.

For that squad, literally the only thing that matters is whether they like playing for the coach, each other and feel their prospects to keep getting better because of the above are good. Not new clubs coming to the area, or posts on DCUM, or anything else.

For a serious player the #1 priority would be to put herself in the best possible position to be recruited by a good college lacrosse program starting September 2027. Affection for the coach and other players is probably a "nice to have".
