The protesters are basically the usual theater kids doing what they do best - over-emoting and embarrassing themselves for attention. Except this time, they’re doing all of that while advocating for terrorists. |
+1 and any non-American protesters should be deported. |
All the paid actors need to get rooted out and charged. |
+1 And any financial aid they might be receiving should be rescinded and used to fix all the damage they’ve inflicted. |
People have rights you moron. You don't get to just ship off people who say and do things you don't like. That's the freedom you idiots never stop bleeting about. It cuts both ways. |
Finally how quiet it’s gotten here - where have all the unhinged Hamas supporters gone? |
They are following Biden’s lead: crickets. |
Speaking of idiots ^^ - maybe you’re unaware of the laws in this country but protesting does not include the right to attack police and inflict property damage. |
Precisely. |
I love the statement from University of Florida:
“This is not complicated: The University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children - they knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences,” said university spokesman, Steve Orlando. Good for them. |
Red states are going to crack down even harder after seeing Columbia destroy itself. |
Good. They’re the only ones with any common sense. |
They will nip it in the bud, even if it requires physical confrontations to enforce the campus rules. |
Tear gas being sprayed now (live) at UNC Chapel Hill. |
DT. FTR, it's not at all clear legally whether/when the US government can deport noncitizens for their speech. See Reno vs. AAADC, Kleindienst, Galvan, etc. So it's entirely possible that the government could seek to deport noncitizen students who participate in protests. |
