And the state police said she closed it, and that they learned that from security videos. |
You won't see a door swing in the video because he enters a recessed outdoor vestibule. See Google Street view here: https://goo.gl/maps/n9UXfREWzp2mYEKe9 Now will the PP who claims you can see him entering the door please apologize? |
The video is very clear. They are covering up because the media started screaming “they are blaming a teacher”. Find those articles. |
They very likely have security video from the interior hallway that show her closing it. Now, if the door did not lock due to maintenance problems, that is an issue. But not the fault of these poor teachers or the students or the person who had previously propped open the door to bring in food from her car. |
Okay, I didn't know Texas rules and haven't seen any clear videos of the door opening and closing. The state police said it was closed but not locked. |
It's not a "Texas rule." It's literally part of the International Building Code for ANY public building where crowds are gathered. Doors swing outward. |
|
Look at the Google Street View photo of the door: https://goo.gl/maps/n9UXfREWzp2mYEKe9
It's very easy to shoot out the window and just reach in your hand to open the door. |
That’s not the door he entered. You can clearly see that door in google maps too in the NY Post video off to the right. Watch the video again. |
DP - no, of course there isn't. This poster is making it up. The only indication that door opens inward is the statement from the article that "she slammed it shut," which would be a slightly odd thing to say if the door swung outward, but doesn't tell us either way. |
That absolutely is the doorway he approaches in the video, I've just showed you the door from a head-on angle. You can see that he walks on the concrete path that leads to the door from the parking area in my Google Street View link. Here is an angle that roughly matches that of the video: https://goo.gl/maps/1HnUzLNDyvzKbt69A In the video, the dark objects he walks behind are the AC condensers. Now, is this the door he entered? I don't know. But the PP in this thread claims the door is propped open in the video. I state that you can't draw that conclusion because the door in this video is part of sunken outdoor vestibule that is not within sight of the security camera in the leaked video. |
The video with the gunman showed cars parked. Where are they in your photo? |
The door I've shown on Google Maps Street View and the one he approaches in the video is the one he entered:
|
Just go forward one step in Google Street View. You'll see them. |
Correct. It’s code for commercial buildings. Residential is different. |
He’s on the grass in the NY Post video. |
