There should be more women coaches in NWSL and women's sports in general. Maybe this will be a catalyst.

Allegations include:
- A player turned downed 2011 FIFA World Cup roster spot invite to appease the Coach
- a player alleges intimacy with coach and another player

Seems those are allegations that another player can confirm or deny and that the Nat Team could confirm.

Why would the coach bit want his player(s) to go? Did the article say why? Not questioning the report just trying to better understand it

I really wish there were more female youth soccer coaches. My players have been fortunate to have had two outstanding women coaches. great coaches and role models.

It’s crazy that people make judgements on entire classes of people based on the actions of a few members of that class.

Exactly. The narrative that men are the abusive coaches and women are the ones fully understanding is an attempt to make this about gender and not about bad coaches. But this is how you grab power.
