DP. They aren’t making up anything. It’s the same concept - have kids start in the second semester, when more beds and space are available on campus. That way, they can greatly increase the amount of households paying the school tuition. Northeastern uses this strategy to fulfill their goal of rapidly climbing in prominence. It’s obvious Middlebury keeps “Feb” around because they are in some sort of trouble.

Typical Middlebury bossters wrong and chippy. Do the math the schools has lost 1600 applicants down to just 11400. When Bates has a record year and has smaller enrollment with more apps that says a lot.
