All conservatives need to do is keep their mouth shut. While a liberal sticks out even with the mouth shut.

You guys get all the breaks - yes you do.

Absolutely bizarre comment. Why should a conservative have to keep their mouth shut? Sounds like you think conservatives should be silenced.

Sounds like you never been to a liberal school. There are shades of liberals and they don't agree on a lot of things. Take one topic on Animal Cruelty - the heavy meat eating liberals don't parade it or promote it; they are conscience that this might be offensive to the vegans and keep their mouth shut.

The views on drug use is also nuanced and here you can voice more openly but cultures that traditionally used certain "herbs" are kept in mind when speaking. Also keep your mouth shut before you cross the line.

A liberal college will even role-play the other side and come-up with arguments for: pro-gun, pro-life, anti-immigration, etc. As a conservative you can have your day here.

The idea is not to teach a single doctrine but to challenge the very notion of who put your belief into your head. Church, State, Family, or Friends all of them are challenged. Identifying fallacies are drilled into you for better logical argumentation.

No liberal school wants a kid to stop challenging their beliefs just be respectful.

I went to law school in the Deep South and it seemed like a large number of students did W and L undergrad. They were all very wealthy Birmingham, mobile, Jackson, New Orleans, etc white kids. It’s funny because I grew up in VA and hardly anybody I know even considered it.

+1
Great question. And we all know the answer.

Traditional conservative or MAGA? Far less welcoming to the latter than the former.

Liberals have absolutely no idea how conservatives actually think. Their efforts to portray conservatives or their positions are invariably totally comical. A conservative who tried to get them to portray conservatives accurately would be shouted down.

The home page … the landing page of their website … mentions affordability prominently. It says tuition is waived for students from households with less than $150k income, and tuition, room, and board is waived for those from households with less than $75k income.

Do they take home equity into consideration when determine eligibility for tuition waver/reduction because most people wouldn't qualify, especially from north of NOVa. I suspect they do take home equity into consideration and therefore not many of the students there actually qualify for these benefits... DIPSHIT. (giving you back your own energy)

Unless they enroll a substantial amount of kids from households below 150k, not much is accomplished. The WL booster knows that but wants to claim it’s an elite school for the best families and it helps the poors. You can’t have it both ways.

Nope. what gets shouted down are racist, homophobic, misogynist, or other hateful remarks. Conservative authors are close to required reading: Ayn Rand, Friedman, Orwell, Lewis, etc. See none of these conservatives lean on hate and no liberal has issue reading, comparing, or arguing them.
