Would you report a new neighbor who keeps parking two wheels on their front lawn?

Yes, I would report it if there's an ordinance. People should follow the ordinances, as they are designed to make it a pleasant place to live.

Imagine being bothered by something like this!! You and OP have serious issues you need to deal with.

You live in an apt and/or have never owned a home in a premier neighborhood.

Hahhahaha a premier neighborhood…that close to other people….bahahahjahahaa I just can’t with your stupidity.

I'm sorry we can't all be as rich, as wonderful and as high klass as you, dear.

Nope, it’s all the snobs. All it takes to scratch the surface is two tires on the grass.

Many things neighbors do "look trashy". Leaving christmas lights up year round, going too long between mows, having 4+ vehicles in a driveway, political signs, leaving trash cans at the curb for too long.

If you want it policed, join an HOA. Otherwise, live and let live.

I will take Christmas lights (like red and green? or just white fairy lights?) any day over parking on the grass.

Cute vs trashy. As for two tires on the grass, they could just pave their driveway three lanes wide and park tons of cars! Someone did that a few streets over for their extra high-end cars, go figure!

+1. We paved over half of our front yard to accommodate our kids’ cars.

I paved over my entire front and back yard and have cars parked everywhere. My yard is a giant parking lot. Not trashy at all!

Our neighbors did this and call it a motor court. It was done tastefully with pavers and landscaping. Frankly, I envy their parking capacity. Our neighborhoof doesn't allow overnight street parking.

We lived in a tiny house growing up. There were six of us -- four kids. At one point, we had 4 cars. And when we had family come over, we had to park on the grass because neighbors complained that they were parking in front of their house, on the public road.

Can't win with these Karens.

There is a house on our block that has six cars neatly parked in the driveway every night, which takes up most of the front yard. It is all the same family. Their house looks well-maintained. I'm all for multi-gen living.

OP's children are all estranged. She can't relate to that.

Anonymous wrote:Not an HOA but there is an ordinance against parking on the grass. So far, they are illegally parking about half of their car on the grass so their other cars can get in and out of garage and driveway. It's turning into a 3 to 5 times a week thing. Report them now or let two wheels slide, however, if they ever park the entire car, all four wheels, to the side of the paved driveway, then take a photo and report them?

This causes a front lawn's grass to erode with car tracks, which makes the entire neighborhood look worse. And honestly, it looks trashy.

I don't want to talk to them about it because then they'll know it was us if we report them later. We have no relationship with them outside of waves once in a while.

Seed that area of the yard with some roofing nails.

Thank you for the Cold War lesson. This angry person posting about wheels has a garage mouth and a rage problem…and is also very old. How shocking.

OK. So you're a bad person if you want people to follow local ordinances?

Instead, I think that the person who parks on the grass should follow the ordinances, because the rules exist for a reason. They are designed so that everyone can live together in harmony without some people making the place look bad.

If you do not like the ordinance, then you can choose to live in a place that does not have the ordinance. It is a big country.

+1

This.
In a nutshell.

Unless you are being directly + adversely affected by this - I would just let it be.

What good can come out of you reporting them??
