| To me, the fun of burgers is all about mixing up the toppings. Brie, sauteed mushrooms and/or onions, cornichons, crisp lettuce, thinly sliced tomato, jalapenos, mayo, ketchup, the possibilities are endless. I think it's kind of sad that posters upthread are proclaiming that burgers should only be topped with what's "necessary." How boring! |
| A lot of burger places have a special sauce - all of which are mayo based. I would actually say it is more common in higher priced places. The higher the price, the more likely they will hade a “unique” sauce (which is almost the same as all the others) |
| Yes. The correct topping is only German yellow mustard. |
That's how we know you are lower class. Using "fun" to describe food... |
Correct. The only point of eating is to stay alive so that you can direct the help. That is the only true pleasure i life. |
At least op skipped the word "trashy". I don't understand why anyone would worry about class when eating a burger, though. It's a burger, just eat it. If you don't like mayo then specify "no mayo". |
| Damn, now I want a burger mayo and all. |
| What? No. For one, a burger, especially mass ordered to the office for lunch, isn’t a “high class” meal. More often than not, yes they do come with mayo or more likely some type of flavored aioli |
This is perfection. Chef’s kiss to you! |
|
I don’t like mayo, period.
I could not care less if someone else does. It’s not a reflection of someone’s character. Such snobs. |
| I don't care what anyone else eats. Grow up op and get a life. |
No there are definitely low class foods. Spaghetti made with a red sauce that consists of melting a ton of Country Crock margarine mixed with ketchup. If you don’t mind losing 4 min of your life and believe there are no low class food, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT1X2FBf7hw |
| I prefer it to ketchup. The pickle and LTO cut the fatty mouthfeel. |
Read the PP again. That’s for you. |

The most low class thing of all is to be obsessed about discriminating between people and things being low or high class. When you ask about it on DCUM, you stamp your forehead with a giant "LC." |
