Relax, no one is bullying or harassing her. |
Yes they are. They are talking bad about her and her parents repeatedly here. |
We understand your opinion. Others have a different opinion. In my opinion: Cautionary tales are meant to be shared. The kid’s name isn’t used. No one is insulting the child. Kid was already in the news. This wasn’t a quiet placement. |
Quoted PP here. I guess I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they were grubbing for fame, but maybe the parents genuinely thought she was uniquely smart and wanted to do their best for her. I feel really sorry for the poor girl. None of this is her fault. |
If that’s what you want to tell yourself to justify it go ahead. We each have to live with our actions and the kind of person we decide to be. And yes how you talk about a 12 year old who has already been publicly identified is part of who you are. |
I have not said one thing about this kid other than what I wrote above. So I haven't talked about this kid in any direct way (commenting about this kid) other than to say the last thing which is kid was already in the news. You're probably one of those people who believes no kids should be talked about: olympic athletes who are under 18, music prodigies who publicaly play, under 18 remarkable artists, etc. I disagree. See how two people can disagree without one shaming the other? |
Her parents threw her into the public square at 10. ISTM that most people are criticizing the parenting, not the child. |
