Netflix: The Night Agent

I liked it. Felt like a low rent Jason Bourne. I liked both main characters, and their friendship chemistry. But they had ZERO romantic chemistry. That kiss was weirdly timed—no sexual tension at all. Wish they had skipped that storyline completely.

Completely agree about the lack of romantic chemistry. I actually thought the female lead had more chemistry with the [no spoilers] policeman friend, even though their conversation wasn’t intended as romantic in any way. It just pointed out for me how much was missing with the main couple.

I’m just now watching this show and cannot stand the female SS agent assigned to the VP’s daughter. She is so snotty and rude in all her interactions with the older male SS agent.

The woman who plays the president’s chief of staff is the WORST actress! Everything she says is in a monotone with zero expression on her face. Ugh.

+1

I know someone who looks and speaks just like her. Works in DC. Scary.

God, the acting and story line just continues to get worse and worse. I had such high hopes for this show.

The President with her long, blonde, flat-ironed hair… I can’t even! 🙄

Ok I loved this show. Cheesy, yes. But it works!

So many ridiculous, nonsensical story lines. Ugh.

Yes! He’s well-equipped to have a good career based on this role. Ditto for the Asian lady.

Rose looks like the actress who played the Indian from the Twilight series who was also in the Dexter reboot.

There was an Indian in Twilight?

In some shots Rose reminds me of the Indian girl in 1923 (can't remember the character's name). I think the actress is from New Zealand.

She is probably Maori which is Native in NZ.

Why do people keep writing "Indian" and not "Native American"?? Are you living under rocks or something?

Probably because “Indian” is the politically correct nomenclature and also the preferred word of Indians. Have you spent any time on tribal land like I have?

So, Indians aren’t really cool with the whole Europeans stealing their land and renaming it America, so it’s easy to recognize why the whole Native American moniker is problematic.

Just binge watched and loved it! Fast paced and very engaging.

Is it predictable and you have to suspend disbelief, sure.

But very well done and the characters/ actors were great. Good plot that kept you on your toes but the viewer doesn't have to exert too much mental effort

Understatement of the year!

Suspense was great but language and profanity compelled me to stop watching it. Words should have been blocked.

You should expect it on streaming services. Stop being pathetic.
