What is your take on the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt divorce saga? What happened on the plane?

It's for Brad! We're back to high school!

She entered the scene wearing a vial of blood on her neck and very publicly ghosting and punishing her father. A very emotionally disturbed woman who is imprinting her children with the same pattern.

Her father was a deadbeat. Deserving of being ghosted. Agree with you about the weird blood thing. So creepy.

I don't think that's true. My impression is that her mom never got over her hostility toward him for an affair and the decision to leave, so conditioned her kids to see her as a victim and hate him. Sound familiar?

It’s also weird that Angelina professed to hate her father for cheating on her mom but then she proceeded to break up a relationship and a marriage while going after her own men.

As with all narcissists, it depends on who you are. Rules that apply to others, do not apply to Angelina. And would she love to show you how.

I do feel sorry for Brad Pitt. Whatever drew him to her comes from trauma on his side. It is always this way. He knows all about it by now. I believe he is a thoughtful, thinking person. All those kids will be 18 soon enough. And he will have missed it. Angelina took everything from him. She rubs it in, too. She is a vile monster. He does not deserve it.

I don't have a particularly high opinion of either of them. I've always thought Brad Pitt was ugly, untalented, and stupid. Angelina Jolie seems like a nasty person, but I did like her briefly toward the end of the Billy Bob relationship and when she first adopted Maddox.
They're both a hot mess, they both look terrible, and I don't envy their kids.

I never cared much for Jennifer Aniston either, but damn, she's living the life compared to those two. She seems happy, healthy and unbothered.

I don't feel sorry for him. He was drawn to pussy, plain and simple. There's no trauma or thought; he's just a dumb hick.

And he's now lost his appeal, which means he is stuck with very limited visitation. The kids will age out of custody determinations, and that will be that. He really did his best, hopefully at least some of the kids will see that one day.

He’s not the first person that has happened to. Plus he was the one with all of the money and power if he wanted to I’m sure he could’ve gotten a custody schedule. I can’t stand Alec Baldwin but he went to court for a decade in order to stay in his daughter’s life and now they seem to have a good relationship.

Agree it's hard to feel sorry for his decisions, when any moron could have seen the red flags.

His bio clock was ticking, he really wanted kids and a family and that was not happening with Aniston for whatever reason. I don’t care for either of them, but what she is doing is a form of child abuse.

His bio clock was ticking? He’s Brad Pitt he could have chosen literally anyone else. Also default custody in California is 50/50. So for him to have less than that for so long he obviously did something. It may not have been at a scale to warrant this much estrangement but clearly something.

PLEASE. Lawyers, especially good lawyers, can manipulate the system.

So funny how people who don’t know them judge them and accuse child abuse with no other source other than tabloids. I suppose only time will tell if there really is abuse. For now, the kids “look” like normal kids, and they look happy. Too bad the marriage didn’t work out.

Men don’t have a bio clock

True, the kids may have had a good childhood with happy, involved parents. Maybe the awful stories where Angie showed off their ultra permissive free-range lifestyle with no structure or boundaries, multiple nannies and governesses but no school, were just stories for the tabloids.

Yes, and how could he possibly afford a good lawyer??????

The adopted children seem to have nothing to do with him. Zahara joined a Spelman sorority, lovely to see. As part of the ritual she danced and said her name: "Zahara Marley Jolie." No more Pitt. https://www.etonline.com/angelina-jolie-and-brad-pitts-daughter-zahara-marley-joins-a-sorority-at-spelman-college-214997?fbclid=IwAR0r2fjAH92jY46FSdO-tct1AXZey6d3lf-1p_uaMAEv4z_aNYo43S27KPY

I think what happened on that plane was ugly. Although I'd like to think forgiveness would be possible once someone gets clean, apparently neither Jolie nor a number of the kids were willing to forgive him. Perhaps he never took proper responsibility for his actions that day, who knows. I've always wondered if he even remembers them clearly. I suspect he tried to punish her financially for "outing" him, as it were. Maybe she retaliated by withholding the kids, or genuinely was anxious about their wellbeing in his care. He wouldn't release her Miraval investment, so she sold from under him. Just ugly, all the way around. Hope the kids will be okay. Zahara seems to be thriving. The older boys seem a bit lost, but they're still young (appears the oldest boy dropped out of college).

Welp, dropping the Pitt surname is a pretty strong statement. Rumor is that Maddox did so a while ago. The girl is entitled to her feelings and her truth. Just glad to see she is doing so well.

True. And I'm assuming he wanted kids -- but I seriously doubt he wanted 10 of them or whatever they had and adopted.

Agree. She is a crazy loon. When she was married to Billy Bob Thornton, she wore a blood vile around her neck. She is a true drama queen and turned the kids against Brad.

The kids were not little when the plane incident occurred. Except for maybe the two youngest, they have clear memories of what happened and can form their own opinions about BP's parenting. Had she encouraged reunification, would things be different? Probably. But she was the primary victim of his abuse, and has no real obligation to make things easier for him. To me, the proof is in the pudding. He's jaunting around with a girlfriend who's half his age. He doesn't exactly come across as serious, and who knows if he's still drinking and smoking dope. He's an entitled white man who's been given a pass his whole adult life (exhibit A: his cruel treatment of Jennifer Aniston). Just because he has a lot of friendly acquaintances in the industry doesn't mean he's actually a good person.
