I liked Ethan Hawke and Julia Roberts together. Mahershala Ali was great as usual.

It was a bit preachy in the end, but I liked how they unspooled the story so you didn't know right away what they were dealing with. I found it a somewhat realistic portrayal of near future dangers.

We liked the movie too. I'm also surprised at all these negative reviews.

I enjoyed it. It was " Brit Marling-esque" end of the world type movie. People here criticized the young mixed race daughter of M.Ali. I loved her in the Industry series based upon a London investment bank.

Agree. The daughter of Mahershala Ali’s character was probably the worst actress of the bunch, or maybe she got the worst lines or worst direction. She sucked.

It would've been infinitely more interesting if that had been the wife instead. Did they switch to the daughter because they needed cheap sex appeal to sell the movie? Either way, a disappointing call.

That's probably it.

Middle-aged Black woman versus young, hot Black girl? That's literally the only reason to make a casting switch like that. And this is typical in the entertainment industry, sadly.

The grandfather was something in the business. She looked miscast. And zero chemistry between her character and her mother in the movie.

I was transfixed the whole time. Especially the Tesla scene, omg! I don't understand these negative posts. Then again, DCUM didn't like Oppenheimer either (boobies!), so maybe not the brightest.

I will watch anything Ali is in; he’s such a good actor. I’ve loved him since House of Cards.

I thought Ethan Hawke did a great job too. I wish there had been more Kevin Bacon. I liked the movie.

I can’t believe I watched the whole thing. What a waste of time. The ending was ridiculous.

Wasn’t sure if I’d like it or be completely bored with it. It wasn’t great but it did hold my interest and I was getting involved with the storyline

Then came the end. I sat there kind of stunned, and next thought was that’s two hours wasted in my life I’ll never get back.

Whole thing was stupid.
